About Dr. Aleksander Iofin
We are a fee for service practice. We do not participate with any Dental Insurance Plans. We are happy to file your insurance claims for reimbursement.
Dr. Iofin is exceptionally skilled and has a calm demeanor that makes his patients comfortable upon entering the practice. He makes what may seem difficult a walk in the park. Besides practicing Endodontics at Rockefeller Center in New York City for over 20 years, he is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of dental medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
He has lectured nationally and internationally on modern endodontic techniques in surgical and non-surgical endodontics.
He was recognized by the Dean of the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for his dedicated service teaching post-doctoral students since 2005.
Dr. Iofin graduated from Rutgers University with highest honors and received his dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine with honors for his graduation thesis. His endodontic specialty training was completed at the Department of Endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Iofin is a Board-eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists. In addition to teaching at Columbia University, Department of Endodontics, he also has lectured both nationally and internationally on modern endodontic techniques and microsurgery.
Dr. Iofin is a co-author of the 2018 Microsurgery in Endodontics textbook.
Dr. Iofin served as President of the New York State Association of Endodontists.
He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the NY County Dental Society.
Dr. Iofin and his wife, a pediatric dentist, are proud parents of two daughters.
