About Dr. Allen Jacobson

Allen Jacobson DDS, MDS, is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While at USC, he won the prestigious R.L. Folkes award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. After graduating at the top of his class, he was invited to further his education at the University of Connecticut, where he earned an advanced Certification in Orthodontics while concurrently earning a Master's Degree for his work in the esthetic display of dentition. It was at the University of Connecticut where Dr. Jacobson was trained in cutting-edge orthodontic techniques, including the use of temporary anchorage devices, contemporary surgical techniques, and Invisalign, to complement his strong knowledge in the use of traditional appliances (braces). When not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Jacobson enjoys playing basketball in the park or hiking through the canyons. Most relevant

I didn't like the bedside manner of the doctor. Came for a consultation and felt a little rushed, also had to ask questions multiple times to have a clear idea of my pretty complicated situation. The wait time was over an hour (and I came for a 8.30 appointment hoping for it to be on time as they open at 8.30 but there were so many people ahead of me). Also they ask for your SSN in the questionnaire for some reason. I will choose another provider to start my braces journey
