About Dr. Anna Lekht
Dr. Anna Lekht graduated from NYU Dental School in 1997. Following her graduation, she completed a one-year advanced general dentistry residency through NYUDS. She specializes in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, and finds great enjoyment in taking care of each patient. With a warm demeanor and friendly aura, her patients react with an immense amount of gratitude towards her work and throughout the years she has formed many friendships with her patients.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Lekht enjoys attending theater shows, shopping, cooking and taking care of her many grandchildren.

Visiting the dentist can be scary, but D. Lekht is very gentle and made the whole experience very comfortable.

She always try’s to charge me before fix them.
This time She made a white clown for me and I paid before fix it.
Next, she said she couldn’t remove the temporary teeth because of the cement and I should wait.
6 months later she didn’t even check, so I asked to refund, but she said she already put a white clown…. And she just said “just come back when it felled naturally……and just said a lot middle of my words…
It was unprofessional.

Have seen this dentist for three visits and have decided that I'm going to find a new dentist. They aren't rude but the vibe in the office is really negative. The dental work was quick and painless but they always have a negative attitude and the office is also kind of cluttered and falling apart. My last appointment was a couple months after COVID started and it was the most positive experience I had because most of the staff weren't there.

My wait was a little long but it was the last appointment of the day so it makes sense. She was kind, professional, and made sure I was comfortable during the teeth cleaning, asking me along the way to make sure I wasn’t in pain. I’ll definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic. I have not been to the dentist in years. She was prompt, courteous, professional. She worked with me to make a game plan and after the xrays , she went straight to work!!! Got a root canal SAME DAY!
She was everything advertised. Very friendly and her work was top notch. she answered all questions.
The place was clean , and I will definitely be going back.

Her dental work was perfectly fine, but her bedside manner was atrocious. I came in for a cosmetic emergency, so I was obviously not feeling great about my appearance to begin with. She commented that my teeth were completely different shades, as one front tooth was more yellow than the other—a fact I was already aware of—and tried to get me to do teeth whitening through her. After I declined, she asked how old I was, and then said that having a nice smile was really important at my age. It was inappropriate and made me feel terrible.

Spent 20 min with me. Booked me in for wisdom tooth extraction and fillings but didn't explain anything (zero time spent explaining) or show me any x-rays, share any information on general health of my mouth. I had to ask 3 times for overall health check and ended up getting a 2 min explanation in the lobby. Nurses didn't speak english, had to call doctor to translate. Overall not a great experience.

Appointment was scheduled for 4:45 was not taken to the dentist chair until 5:10. The hygienist (I assume) sat me down and disappeared until 5:26 when another hygienist appeared and told me she was going to do an X-ray since it’s my first visit. So I get my x ray done and she ask which dentist I would like to see. Seeing as it’s my first time Im not sure what to answer soI said whomever can come first seeing as I’ve basically waited a little under an hour to get a basic teeth cleaning and it hasn’t even started yet. She leaves and 10 min later Dr.Anna arrives and she is very sweet and pleasant. And explains to me that she is going to be looking for cavities while she cleans my teeth. Okay sure I’m thinking. 10 min later I kid you not she is done with the cleaning. (If you want to call it that) She scraped my teeth with the pointy tool that I do not know the name of and was pushing my gums up like they were the cuticle on my nail. Which was very painful and hygienist #1 who sat me down and disappeared has now appeared again and her job was the water and the suction. They were splashing water all over my face and no googles in sight. She basically scraped the plaque off my teeth and then put fluoride on it and called it a day. No floss? Nothing?? I was dumbfounded. Then she directed me to the receptionist who said okay when do you want to come in for a deep cleaning. So I asked a deep cleaning? What is the difference between a deep cleaning and a regular cleaning and the receptionist proceeds to say she just cleans deeper and she will numb you. NUMB YOU for a teeth cleaning I was shocked. Needless to say unfortunately I’m sure the good reviews are from the staff being for the most part very nice but ZOCDOC swayed me wrong on this one. Also I am not one to complain about wait times as I get it sometimes offices are busy. But this office is very small with an open floor plan so you can pretty much see everything going on and they did not have any patients the whole time I was waiting. It seemed like everyone was basically lollygaging and taking their precious time and that was very irritating.

Just went in for a cleaning which was fine. But they called me an hour before my appt asking if I could come in early. I got there 30 mins early & then sat in a chair for an hour with no one telling me why I was waiting for so long or why they even asked me to come in so early in the first place if the dentist was too busy to see me that early.

I'm grateful to have found Dr. Lekht and her office. I have a massive fear of dental procedures and the filling she gave me was virtually painless. It was my first visit, and she and her team were very thourough with xray and carefully diagnosed the issue. Dr. Lekht is very straight-forward and confident in her approach.
The front desk staff was also helpful. There was an issue with my insurance and they did everything it took to straighten out the issue so I could see the doctor.

The cleaning was painful and was completed by Dr. Lekht with the assistance of another person. The other person seemed disinterested and she got my top lip caught in the suction apparatus. Instead of turning the tool off she just proceeded to pull and pull until my lip was finally free. No apology was offered by this individual. It was very odd. The dentist said "sorry" to me for her but it was still a very strange moment. Because of the accident I developed an unsightly and painful purple blood blister on my lip that took about 24 hours to go away. At work the next day I was self-conscious about it. This was from a routine CLEANING! I would never go back here. Beware.
