“Dr. Talmood was exceptional, professional, thoughtful, and skilled. She took the time to explain everything in a calm, approachable way, offered well-considered options, and made the entire visit feel both efficient and reassuring. Dr. Talmood is a graduate of USC. Coming from such a fine institution, you can rest assured that she takes your health very seriously. In order to assure that we are serving you to the best of our abilities, our staff undergoes many hours of continued education annually. We also attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of the latest techniques, the newest products, and the most advanced equipment.
Also, as members of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Association our English-Spanish bilingual dentist Dr. Talmood regularly networks with dental colleagues to stay abreast of new methods and procedural changes.

Pros-
The office was very well kept, the staff was very very nice.
Cons-
Dr. made me feel a type of way that I did not personally care for. She was honest, but she asked personal questions about my finances and assumed I could not pay for my visit even though my insurance is top notch and PAID FOR EVERYTHING.
Waited much longer as the place was overbooked with only one dentist available. So if you are planning on going, I would plan for the earliest appointment and plan to spend a minimum of 3 hours even if it’s just a checkup.
Overall, it wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best. I do get upset one someone assumed I do not have the money to pay for the services provided. I had more than enough and judgement is never a good thing. I used to be in sales and I learned you never judge someone based on appearance.
I might go back for the cleaning but we will see.

This is an A+ establishment. Extremely clean. The front office personnel was very informative and very kind and professional.
I’ve been to several dentists trying to figure out if I have a tooth or gum issue and this doctors office and Dr. TALMOOD was amazing. They showed me on the x-rays and with photos of my teeth exactly what’s going on. And they were very reasonable as well with pricing. They found the real issue that others had trouble finding. I would recommend this Dentist to any of my friends or family.?

Dr. Talmood is phenomenal, truly an amazing dentist. I have a phobia of needles (panic attack-inducing), and I was able to take 2 shots for numbing with her support and precision. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care.

The first appointment, I got x-rays done but was not shown my x rays. I was told that I have many urgent dental issues without showing me proof or photos. I was told I needed urgent antibiotics but then was given an appointment for 2 weeks later for that. At that appointment I received a dental cleaning as well. The dental hygienist was uncommunicative about what she was doing. Normally there is a mirror for me to see what is happening to my teeth but at this dental office there wasn’t. The dental hygienist inserted the antibiotics without warning. She then “polished” my teeth but did so rushingly and instead of polishing one tooth at a time (like every dentist I have ever had) she ran the tool over all my teeth in one swipe and then sent me on my way. Additionally, those antibiotics were not covered by insurance and I was not told this until after the procedure.

Extremely caring and accurate. Visualized the issues and the procedures needed to be done. Exceptional job on completing then without pain. The staff are amazing- all of them. My only item would be articulation of what would be out of pocket and what would be converted more thoroughly. I also received post care knowledge and tools I wasn’t aware of: I.e., water flossing

This was by far the best experience I have ever had at a dentist appointment. I was seen almost immediately after walking in. The dentist took the time and care to do a full evaluation of my teeth as I was a new patient, and she explained everything to me in great detail and answered all of my questions. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind and made me feel welcomed and accommodated. I highly recommend this office if you are in the area.

Incredibly accommodating. I had shooting pain one night and she was able to accommodate me to come in the following morning at 9 AM. State of the art facility. Wonderfully warm and accommodating staff. Can’t say enough good things about them.

90+ minutes total wait, 60+ to get seated then half an hour for x-rays
COVID protection is superficial. Staff wears surgical masks inside out, including Dr. Talmood herself. She justifies it by saying they wear a mask underneath. Even so, her nostrils are clearly visible. The office also overcharges for PPE, despite surgical masks and few N95s.
Multiple clerical errors and typos, including on the COVID form (e.g. misspelling "asthma" as "asma"), which I had to fill out the same form twice, once on paper and once on the iPad.
Exaggerated my periodontal measurements and recommended several procedures I didn't need (from second opinion). Went for a cleaning, left with x-rays and a long treatment plan.
When I called them to request my records, a man answered who said he was the clinic manager and husband of Dr Talmood. I explained I wanted the records for a second opinion and he told me "Are you questioning her? Dr. Talmood is a graduate from USC and have 20+ years of experience". I mentioned the office was overbooked and the charges seemed excessive, and he mentioned they lost two staff members from COVID and had to close for 3.5 months. He said I had to come in for another appointment if I wanted records.
Maybe they're desperate and cash-strapped, but the entire experience was of the utmost unprofessionalism.

I was thankful to find Dr. Talmood 15 years ago when my previous dentist moved out of the area. I’ve needed major dental work during my lifetime and have a low tolerance for pain. Dr. Talmood has excellently completed extensive procedures of all types for me over the years; root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, implants, partial. She takes time to do things right. I appreciate that she is gentle and kind, compassionate about giving additional anesthetic when I’ve needed it. With cost of expensive procedures, ease of financial arrangements have been important to me. Coordination with my insurance has been skillfully handled thanks to her experienced front office manager, Christina.

My son Kane was scared but Dr. Talmood does an amazing job at connecting with him and making the visit fun. Additionally she takes all the steps necessary to make sure it's a painless and comfortable visit.
