“A good routine visit. This is my 3rd routine dental exam visit and I think my first exam completed by Dr. Sohn and she knows me by first name and remembers details of the last visit chitchat. Makes seeing a dentist much less stressfull. Some of the comments in her reviews suggests she has a heavy load of patients and visits might be impersonal but I can attest this is not the case. The Dentist is thorough, her touch feels confident and experienced, her bedside manner and vocal instructions are short, clear, and diplomatically proffessional She just clicks with me. The front desk will bend over backwards to take care of my dental needs. I can't thank Chris enough for getting me in for a second opinion . I have been to 2 other dentists in Seattle and right now I have found a keeper in Smile Esthetic. Good group.”

“dr annie was fantastic!! i haven’t been in to the dentist in about a year, but she said that my teeth were looking great. her staff was super kind and helpful the whole time i was there, and i was sitting in the lobby for maybe 5 minutes before they took me back. they were very thorough with my cleaning, my teeth felt great afterwards!!”

About Dr. Annie Sohn
We accept all dental insurance plans that do not require you to see a specific provider. We are in-network with Delta Dental and Regence. We are NOT in network with Apple health or DeltaCare.
Our office is located in the Medical Dental Building in downtown Seattle. Please be sure you are selecting the correct location before scheduling your appointment.
Dr. Sohn's practice emphasizes a team approach to patient-centered care. Along with a team of specialists to whom we refer and dedicated auxiliaries such as dental assistants and hygienists, patients who schedule through Zocdoc may see other trusted doctors on staff who can address concerns promptly. Our practice strives to offer widely available appointment times and the convenience of online self-scheduling. With this convenience, please understand that at times you may see the next available clinician working closely with Dr. Sohn.
Dr. Sohn earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle. She has lived in King County since moving here in 1980 at the age of six.
Her passion for learning and natural curiosity keep her engaged daily with both people and the dental profession.
Our office focuses on preventive and conservative restorative dentistry to preserve each person's natural smile, all delivered through a collaborative team approach. Our assistants, hygienists, and dentists work together to provide care that meets the high standards Dr. Sohn established when she founded her practice in 2010. I have a ton of anxiety about dental offices. I’ve never had bad tooth/mouth care - ever. I tend to react to the atmosphere of the dental office. Today the dental office was very quiet, the clinicians spoke quietly to one another. I learned less is better with nitrous in my case and the hygienist was very patient in adjusting the level until I was at a comfortable rate.
I just received a call from the dentist checking on me - such above and beyond care.

When I visited the dentist, she kept chatting with the nurse. During the cleaning, sometimes she didn’t even look at my teeth, which made me feel very unsafe.

I saw the hygienist Jerome, who took care of me last time. What stood out was I had a burr between a tooth and an implant that kept breaking dental tape and he smoothed it out to where it was almost back to normal. I'm very comfortable and confident with him. Other "dentists" could not do it adequately. Also Chris the receptionist is always responsive to questions, needs and goes the extra effort to take of my special needs. Best group so far and if my family decides they need another dentist I'd recommend these folks without hesitation. Geat team!

I had an amazing experience, from the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The office is clean, modern, and very well-organized, which immediately put me at ease.
The dentist (Annie) was not only knowledgeable and thorough but also took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions. I felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire visit.

Dr Sohn is a very practical and approachable dentist. She tells you what work she recommends soon and what we can just keep an eye on. I never feel pressured. She is full of helpful information and answers all my questions prior to and during work. She also is very conscientious about minimizing my anxiety and potential pain. I always feel I can take a pause during the work. She also distracts me from discomfort with lots of funny stories. The office has a learning environment and diverse staff, which I appreciate.
