About Dr. Archana Srinivasan
Affectionately known as Dr. Sri by her patients and Archie among friends, Dr. Archana Srinivasan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient-centered care to her dental practice.
As the founder of Ateeth Dental Care, Dr. Sri is dedicated to bringing her unique blend of expertise and empathy to the vibrant community of Reston. Her approach to dentistry is influenced by her family’s tradition of compassionate medicine and her pursuit of academic excellence. Inspired by her parents' nurturing medical practice in Kerala, India, Dr. Sri values building genuine relationships and earning her patients’ trust.
Growing up in a family of medical specialists, Dr. Sri developed a fascination with medicine and human behavior. A dental injury during her teenage years sparked her interest in dentistry, a field that beautifully amalgamates arts, science, and medicine. She earned her BDS from MCODS, Mangalore, India in 1999 and completed her MDS in Endodontics in 2003. In 2007, Dr. Sri moved to the U.S. and completed her residency in AEGD at the Eastman Institute of Oral Health, Rochester, NY. Here, she rediscovered her joy in providing comprehensive patient care, particularly for those with dental anxiety and special needs due to disability or age. This experience refined her clinical skills and deepened her understanding of the connection between oral health and overall well-being.
Dr. Sri started her clinical practice in the USA at a corporate dental office in Stafford, Virginia. Recognizing that the corporate model did not align with her practice philosophy, she transitioned to a dentist-owned practice in Dale City, Virginia, where she thrived in an environment that prioritizes personalized care and patient well-being.
Grounded in the belief in the body’s remarkable capacity for healing, especially within the oral cavity, Dr. Sri adopts a holistic perspective in her practice.
