About Dr. Avery Lopez
All our professionals at University Park Family Dental maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry. Avery Lopez, DDS Dr. Lopez is a gentle, caring dentist who uses the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each of his patients. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Lopez is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.
Dr. Lopez received his doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2005. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those of Invisalign invisible braces, sedation dentistry, and dental implants. Dr. Lopez is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Colorado Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Academy of Dental Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Prosthodontic Society and the Denver Implant Study Club.

After a long search, I finally found the dentist I want to commit to here in Denver. The entire experience was excellent — the cleaning was extremely thorough, the staff was friendly, and everything felt professional yet welcoming.
Big shoutout to both the hygienist and the dental tech — the hygienist did a fantastic, careful cleaning, and the tech was equally great, making the whole visit easy and comfortable. It’s clear the team here cares about doing things the right way.
Honestly, I’m actually looking forward to my six-month checkups now, which says a lot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dental office in Denver.
