About Dr. Avrekh (Avy) Ariyev

Dr. Avy was accepted from high school into a prestigious seven-year combination undergraduate and graduate dental program. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York before continuing his dental education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine – earning awards for excellence in academics and ultimately graduating with honors.
After completing his formal education, Dr. Avy completed a one-year general residency program at the New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he focused on all aspects of specialty and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Avy has an unrivaled passion for general and cosmetic dentistry and enjoys providing the absolute highest quality of care for each and every patient. Due to his calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor, Dr. Avy’s patients are always put at ease. Alongside running his practice, Dr. Avy stays abreast of current emerging techniques and technologies via continuing education courses and seminars. Those new developments are then seamlessly incorporated into the care that Smile Studio delivers on a daily basis.
Outside of his practice of dentistry, Dr. Avy enjoys traveling as well as spending time with his wife and baby boys.

Dr. Avy and his hygienist Maria were both very warm and welcoming. I was seen immediately, and when I told them I was nervous both reassured me and helped calm my nerves. Dr. Avy was very careful not to cause me any unnecessary discomfort, and helped me to resolve my issue as best as possible today. I will definitely be returning.

I came in for a cleaning for the first time and everything was great. I got called back right away. The hygienist was really nice and my teeth felt great after. The doctor was also really nice and explained everything in great detail for me. I'm recommending all my friends and family to come here.
