Dr. Baruch B. Lifshitz has proudly served the communities of Monsey, Suffern, Monroe and South Fallsburg as well as Manhattan, Suffern and the Five Towns for over 30 years. Dr. Lifshitz office has been a corner stone of the community, a place where the best possible general, cosmetic and pediatric dental care has been given to people of all ages from grandparents to their grandchildren. He welcomes you to be treated in an atmosphere of warmth, kindness and respect at his practice.
Dr. Lifshitz graduated from New York University School of Dentistry. In addition to general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he has extensive experience treating children with interventional orthodontic care. When he is not practicing, Dr. Lifshitz enjoys tennis, racquetball and biking.

has to have a cracked tooth taken care of. they felt it could be fixed with a filling. after my filling visit with this doc my mouth hurt for just under a week. I have had teeth pulled, cut out of me and fillings before and never felt as bad as I did after getting worked on by this doc.

Doctor was nice enough but the office is very dated, tools are dirty, uses outdated equipment (actual x-rays that need to be developed), patient room is dark and there was a bloody dental tampon on the floor beside the chair I was getting treated in!!! Never going back and the Department of Health needs to make a visit and see if the office should be allowed to treat patients in these conditions.

I highly recommend Dr. Baruch. 100% very professional and skilled at his work. I was extremely terrified and nervous at first and his assistant and Dr.Baruch reassured me I had nothing to worry about and made me feel relax thru the whole procedure by talking and telling jokes. This was my second time there in a week for the same fill in . They didn't do my teeth correctly the first time . It seem as if they didn't really want me there . I wouldnt refer anyone to this office . Even when the lady called me to confirm the sec appt she was rude. He even dropped a tool and proceeded to put it back in my mouth the first visit.

I went for a dental cleaning with this dentist and he only partially cleaned my teeth. He took literally 2 minutes to do it and that was it. I am not sure why that was the case. Maybe it was because I told the dentist I regularly flossed and brush my teeth everyday and based on those answers probably just partially cleaned my teeth. However, it was my first time going to the Dentist in almost 2 years!

it was awful he slammed his tools on my chest barley cleaned my teeth i had to wait an hour to see him after i made an apt. the room smelled terrible. His backhanded comments made me feel uncomfortable and he did a poor job cleaning my teeth. I will never go ever again. It was so bad I cried after. He made me feel bad that I had medicaid. no doctor should ever make you feel that way

Went in for a simple cleaning and check up and he told me I needed 5 fillings. Believing this although looking back I should have gotten a second opinion, I had him fill them. Although this appointment was six months ago, my teeth STILL hurt. I went back after a month of sensitivity and pain whenever I bit into anything or drank anything hot/cold and he told me it was fine and filed them down a bit and told me they would not hurt anymore. No change; I still cannot chew on one side of my mouth and it is painful to eat anything crunchy on the other. I'm not sure if he did the fillings wrong but now I am in a bad spot because I wasted my one appointment for my insurance for the year. I never had this problem with a dentist or my teeth anymore and this should have been resolved when I went back to him after telling him I was in pain,

my husband is very upset was treated like an animal other people that went in they took there time with them the minute my husband went in it didn't take not even a minute for him to clean his teeth my husband is legally blind I asked the doctor what was his plan for fixing his teeth and he had none just pulled a tooth out and send him on his merry way when we asked him whats do we have to do next to fix all his teeth the doctors reply was what ever you want to do very unprofessional.

I read the very impressive reviews for Dr. Baruch Lifshitz and decided to go for my first appointment. On my way to the dental chair, I saw the diploma of Dr. Lifshitz and it stated that he went to an excellent and reputable school --- New York University in 1982. That is a solid 33 years of experience!
I distinctly remember Dr, Lifshitz's bedside manners as remarkable. He put me at ease, addressed my concerns without feeling rushed and more importantly, he had a good sense of humor. After the x-rays were done, I requested if he could do my annual cleaning before extracting my tooth. To my surprise and delight, he agreed. After the cleaning, it was time for the big one --- my tooth extraction. I did not realize that my tooth had been extracted until his assistant showed me. Dr. Lifshitz's hand/fingers were as light as a feather as I felt little movement in the extraction area.
I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Lifshitz for being an excellent dentist and his choice of staff who are kind and welcoming speaks well of the man who hired them.
I would give Dr. Baruch Lifshitz a 6-star rating and he is now my dentist for life.

I personally did not have a good experience with Dr. Lifshitz. I had a horrible toothache and he just seemed very impatient while he was working with me. Not only that but when he killed the nerve that was bothering me, he put it right in my face and asked me if I wanted to smell it! What the heck? He was supposed to call me back if my insurance approved a root canal and I never heard from him. He started a root canal in my tooth, which ended up leaving a huge hole in my mouth, and he just never contacted me again. I tried calling him and he didn't answer. I was not happy with my services.
