About Dr. Cooper Giesen

Dr. Cooper Giesen is a Canadian-American dentist with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. He discovered his passion for dentistry at a young age after seeing the impact a healthy smile can make when his brother fell and broke his front teeth playing roller hockey. Dr. Giesen studied Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Outside of class, he spent his time playing hockey (go Leafs), skiing, cooking with seasonal ingredients, conducting research, and tending to his plants. Dr. Giesen moved to NYC to pursue a hospital-based residency at Bellevue Hospital Center, where he advanced his training in complex rehabilitation and prosthodontics with a strong surgical foundation. He was selected as Chief Resident for a second year to continue his education in restorative, endodontic, and implant dentistry. He is fluent in French, proficient in Spanish, and enjoys taking the time to tailor modern care to each individual patient.
