About Dr. Ben Giang
Dr. Giang grew up in Garland, TX and is excited to provide dental care for the community here and its surrounding areas. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. While attending dental school, Dr. Giang joined the United States Navy. Following his graduation he was commissioned and reported to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, CA, where he served with 1st Dental Battalion, 23rd Dental Company.
After proudly serving as a Navy dentist for 4 years, he returned home to Texas. Dr. Giang married his high school sweetheart in 2007, they have two energetic sons and a beautiful baby girl. He enjoys all things sports, golfing, snowboarding, and reading. Dr. Giang has a deep passion for dentistry and believes in traditional values while using the most up to date technology to bring you and your family the best comprehensive oral health care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.

I’m usually afraid to go to the dentist but Dr. Ben Giang was very knowledgeable, kind and gentle. The staff at Cornerstone Family Dentistry were very pleasant. Everyone was caring and kind. Doctor Ben and his staff were incredibly professional and friendly. I realize now that I have to step my demeanor up even more so now that they have raised my already high bar of professional and friendly behavior. Had been a long time since my last dentist visit. The focus the whole time was on a reasonable treatment plan that made sense; laid out in facts and benefits instead of judgments and maximizing work. One of the reasons it had been a while since my last visit is because I always felt like my precious dentist tried to upsell (non-stop pushing Invisalign, whitening, etc.) and recommended the most expensive treatment plan without discussing options/pros and cons. I felt like I was part of the conversation instead of being talked down to. Part of my treatment plan was deep cleaning. They did a great job; very little pain. While I did not have any whitening procedure done, my wife commented about how much brighter my smile was. Very pleasant experience, which can be hard to say for a dentist!

I would highly recommend going to Dr. Giang. He spends so much more time with his patients and is so much more thorough than what I've experienced with other dentists. He also uses some really cool imaging technology, unlike what I've seen with other providers.
