Dr. Carli Katz is an experienced, caring dentist on whom this practice is built. You'll enjoy getting to know her and benefiting from her excellent education and enhanced skill set. At 613 Dentistry Chula Vista, our goal is to offer services that support your overall health through dental and oral health care that prevents problems, accurately diagnoses them when they occur, and treats them using safe, comfortable, and modern methods. With Dr. Carli Katz at the helm, we're ready to meet and serve you. While she hasn't always lived in Chula Vista or the San Diego area, her heart has always been in this area that she calls home. She has also spent time acquiring and expanding her dental skills in Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago.
Dr. Carli Katz holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from prestigious Tufts University in Boston and is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, The International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the San Diego Dental Society, and ranked as a Top 3 Dentist by the San Diego Dentist Association.

This is a thoroughly professional practice, imo.
The office staff is young, enthusiastic, and they answer questions with dignity, knowledge, and poise.
I enjoyed my appointment with Dr Katz, and her wonderful people. It was so refreshing to have so many options presented to assist me in creating a plan to restore my wretched teeth.
I made a good choice. And, I found their prices are reasonable, their attitudes encouraging, and their support comforting.

This was my first time at Dr. Katz office. When I entered I was greeted with a smile and introduced to the staff. Every interaction with each staff member was with importance and care. The process was great. Dr. Katz was amazing. I have never had such an amazing experience going to the dentist. I left knowing what my plan of action was for my dental work and was very please with the acceptance of my insurance and the payment plan. I think I found my forever dentist!

This is the best dentist office I’ve ever been too. I came in with almost a decade of neglecting dental appointment and came in because of an emergency. From the minute I stepped in I think the staff could tell I was nervous and embarrassed. Everyone was so kinda and when I ended up getting overwhelmed and crying they were perfectly kinda and consoling. Dr. Katz was so clear and communicative on how to fix my current emergency, helped me make a plan, and made a plan to address other dental repair. I was referred to an amazing endodontics, and feel really confident that things are going to be alright. I cannot recommend this office, and team more.

I had gotten concerned about my old fillings – whether mine were
the bad kind or not. I read about all the problems they can cause
you, and all my back teeth have fillings, even though some of
them are small. I know that Dr. Katz does mercury amalgam filling
replacement because I saw her name when I searched for that, so
I decided to make an appointment for an overdue cleaning and
checkup.
I didn’t know that if the old fillings are the same color as the
tooth, they’re OK. I thought all old fillings might be problematic.
So I was mostly OK. But I did have one old silver-colored filling
that she was concerned about, especially since the tooth had
decayed around the filling. She was able to replace it in the same
appointment as the cleaning.
I was impressed how much gear and
procedures she had for getting the mercury out of me without any
escaping, and I saw her dispose of it in a special container after
she cut it out. My fillings are one less thing to worry about now.
I can’t imagine anyone being any better at silver filling
replacement than she is. I’m glad she was available to take this weight off my
mind.

I came for a second opinion from Dr. Katz as she came highly recommended as a holistic dentist. I'd been told that gum disease surgery was unavoidable, and wasn't looking forward to that. Dr. Katz told me that surgery was avoidable, and helped me to use ozone to disinfect the bacteria in the gums, and reverse the disease. If you want a true holistic diagnosis and treatment alternatives, come to see her!

My dentist retired, so I was looking for a new one. I noticed this
one when I was in an office nearby and figured it would be as
good as any. She’s a nice young lady, and the staff is nice too. I
was impressed how modern and new everything is compared to
my old place. I had a cleaning and then a filling, and the waits
were short and the treatment times were reasonable. I recommend this
dentist to anyone who needs a new one.

I was looking for a Holistic Dentist in or near San Diego and Dr. Carli Katz came up, so I tried her office. She’s the best Dentist I’ve visited. Since I’ve gone vegan and started caring about how I fit into the future of this planet, I’ve been more careful about the Doctors and Dentists and other professionals I go to.
Dr. Carli is gentle and funny while being professional too. She seems like a genuine person with no pretense. It seems like she’s not even from the same planet as some of the old-fashioned Dentists I’ve seen in the past. The office is clean (important in the new normal), easy to find (important because I’m directionally challenged!) and friendly – always important. It seems to be well-equipped with all the latest stuff. I got my cleaning and got on my way. I’ll definitely keep my appointment for the 2 fillings, and then I hope I’m good for a while.

I needed a dentist for myself and my 3 children, ages 8, 10 and 13. I have bad teeth with lots of caps and fillings from when I was in my 20s and 30s. When I started seeing black spots on my two youngest’s teeth, I knew they were headed for some issues too. My mom in Austin told me to try to find a holistic dentist like they have there, and I found Dr. Carli Katz through my insurance company. I’m so thankful to have dental insurance because all three of my kids need things done and at least 3 of my caps need to be redone, so we will be seeing lots of her office.
The treatment plan for each of us is sensible and reasonably priced with the insurance. I hope by the end of the year we will all be on the right track with our dental health and that my kids can avoid at least some of the problems I have had through the years and can avoid being afraid of the dentist like so many people are. I hope we can all go to Dr. Katz for many years to come. I recommend her because of her gentle nature, the range of choices she was able to offer, the great staff and the convenient location. It’s everything I was hoping for.

My boss told me about Dr. Carli Katz when he saw that I had a toothache. We work just across the street. He said he met her at a neighborhood business group. So I went. I called late one afternoon while still working and got in early the next morning. They told me what to take in the meantime.
I was surprised how much time she took with me since I had a last minute appointment. The desk people were friendly, the dental staff did an x-ray and looked me over, then she came in and suggested what needed to be done. I just needed a filling on the chewing surface to stop the ache, and she did it that day. It all took only about an hour, there was no pain, and I was able to go to work right after. If you live or work near this office in Chula Vista, give it a try. It worked for me.

My first dental visit in 8 or 9 years. Broke a tooth, so I didn’t have a choice. My last dentist was a loud, obnoxious guy who was always trying to get me to whiten my teeth or get a sealant or something. Turned me off. And he was rough. So I just stopped going.
So when I broke the tooth, I got the repair kit thing at CVS but it didn’t work. Searched online and found this place. Got in quick. I was impressed by how nice they were. No judgement about me not going to the dentist. She cleaned up my mess of a tooth I had broken and got me ready for a crown. Yes, she recommended some other services, but no pressure. I know I need a bunch of stuff done. I have some anxiety and wish I didn’t have to go to any dentist, but she’s nice and kind. Makes you feel at home. She’s the one I’ll go to when I get the rest of the stuff done.

Dr. Carli is incredibly knowledgeable in holistic dentistry, she mentored with Dr. Daniel Vinograd who lectures worldwide on the subject (and actually recommended me to her). I was a little thrown off to start because she looks so young, but her confidence quickly made that irrelevant, and I was happy to have her take care of my mercury amalgam replacement.
