Dr. Barsoum received her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She was granted her certificate in Prosthodontics from Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was also awarded the Leo M. Davidoff award for outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical students.
Dr. Barsoum is a Clinical Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and Occlusion in the Department of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. She currently teaches in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, in which she supervises post-doctoral patient treatment.
Dr. Barsoum is a member of the ADA, the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and the Northeast Gnathological Society (NGS).
In her off time, Dr. Barsoum enjoys a variety of activities including cooking, yoga and walking “Gus” her little Yorkshire terrier.
