My journey towards dentistry has taken me from Taiwan to the States, then to Singapore and back to the U.S. Being able to immerse myself in other cultures and live by different set of traditions propelled me to stretch, both personally and professionally. Working with children day-by-day reiterates the opportunity that a pediatric dentist has to help patients develop positive, lifelong habits. My experiences have given me the benefit of seeing dentistry in a variety of contextual, cultural and practical settings, I believe I have demonstrated competency and determination to meet the demands of America’s increasingly diversified population. I strive to give back using my career, communicate empathetically to my patients and stay committed to promoting oral health as an integral part of overall health.
