Dr. Clara Mendez discovered her passion for dentistry when she was only 9-years-old. At the age 21, she first graduated dental school in the Dominican Republic. Then, she graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry, in California as part of the class of 2015. Doctor Mendez has been an associate general dentist for over 8 years. She is an active member of CDA and ADA and it’s a FACE (Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education) alumni.
Dr. Mendez’s approach to dental care isn’t based just on teeth but more so as a comprehensive view of a person as a whole. She will look for the biochemical and functional reasons your mouth may be experiencing problems. She will evaluate everything from your diet, hygiene, saliva environment, to your bite/occlusion, mastication muscles and TMJ’s. She is also a big advocate of evidence based dentistry, keeping herself up to date with all the latest trends on the biochemistry of dental materials to provide you with the best techniques available to date.
Dr. Mendez has a compassionate heart, she cares deeply for her patients and likes to provide with a relaxing environment with pain free treatment as her goal. She is both and English and Spanish speaker, is very passionate about dentistry, explorer of new hobbies like piano, dancing, healthy cooking and gym enthusiast.
