About Dr. David Harmon
Dr. Harmon attended Bishop McNamara High School graduating in 1984. He then attended Howard University in Washington, DC. Doctor Harmon received a Bachelors of Science in Dentistry degree (BS) in 1993 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. Having developed an interest in orthodontics, he applied and was accepted into the Case Western Reserve University's Master's Program, where he specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics; he graduated in 1996 with a Master of Science of Dentistry Degree (MSD) and a certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Harmon is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO)and is the current President of the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists (MSSO). Dr. Harmon is a part-time assistant clinical professor of orthodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry at Baltimore. He gives clinical instruction and seminars on early orthodontic treatment, Invisalign, Propel (Accelerated Orthodontic Tooth Movement), diode laser and electro-surgery soft tissue management techniques, as well as, other advanced mechanics in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Harmon is an Invisalign Elite Preferred Provider. In addition, Dr. Harmon is certified in the use soft tissue diode lasers. He is also a very proud member of the Alpha-Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Leisurely, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on computers, watching his kids play sports and is an avid golfer. He is married to Shonda Harmon, MBA,MPA and they have two children; Kennedy and David III.

Dr Harmon is very friendly and does his best to give a thorough overview of what treatment will be needed as well as doing his best to assist you the best way he can throughout the process. His wife as well as the entire office staff were extremely professional and also friendly. I loved my experience and i am most certainly looking forward to going back and starting treatment!

Dr. Harmon always has a pleasant demeanor. He makes you feel like you're his only patient. The staff is always pleasant and professional. Everyone addresses you on a first name bases. That type of customer service goes a long way. I would highly recommend Dr. Harmon to anyone in the future. It will be bittersweet on our last visit.
