About Dr. Deepa Naik
Dr. Deepa Naik is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a specialist member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, practicing pediatric dentistry since 2007. While in dental school, Dr. Naik discovered her natural ability to communicate effectively with children and a special talent for making her patients feel comfortable during their dental visits. She places great emphasis on talking with her patients and building trusting relationships to help them feel at home.

Dr. Naik is an honors graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Parnassus Campus, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. During this time, she received the Outstanding Clinician Award and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which selects members based solely on merit and academic excellence in dentistry.
Her passion for working “with children” and “for children” led her to pursue advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During this postdoctoral course, Dr. Naik trained at the prestigious Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, California, gaining extensive experience in all areas of children's dentistry, including care for medically, physically, and developmentally compromised children, victims of trauma, and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Naik became board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was awarded Diplomate status, the highest honor in the specialty. Each year, she continues to study advances in pediatric dentistry and has completed numerous hours of continuing education in emergency and sedation dentistry. She holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
