“My best recommendation for Dr. Gerber is this: my old dentists said had cavities and that I would need to return another day to have them filled. But scheduling became a pain, so I went to Dr. Gerber.
Dr. Gerber looked at the X-rays and politely declined to fill them. That was 5 years ago and I haven't "had" any cavities since either.
On top of that, Dr. Gerber is direct but kind. Highly recommended.”

I am extremely dissatisfied with the misinformation and billing issue at my recent visit. I called the office twice before my appointment and was explicitly told that my cleaning, X-rays, and yearly check-up would be covered in full with no out-of-pocket cost. When I arrived, I was told by the secretary that I had to pay. This is incorrect. Preventive services are covered under my plan and should not be billed to the patient or applied toward the deductible. The secretary was a very sweet young lady, but It was a very frustrating experience. It took me 10 minutes to find and go see another dentist near by but not from Zocdoc listing… this new doc didn’t charge me for anything other than my copayment. Keep your eyes open when visiting Dr Gerber’s office. Someone is making mistake there.

I have been going to this dentist since the first week the office opened. He is a good dentist but his staff is the most disorganized I have ever encountered. They have started over booking him and so when you go into an appointment, even if you are on time, there is going to be a three hour wait. This is NY nobody has time for that. They also lost my records four times, during Covid when they were not even busy. They are rude and incompetent.

Came for a cleaning. He was fast, professional, and upheld my awkward request of not getting x-rayed because I felt like not getting more radiation blasted at my face. He probably thought I was weird but he was a cool dude.

I loved my visit. He was very informative and helped me understand everything that was going on with my issue and other issues I wasn’t even aware of. He is nice and I was seen right away, especially being a new patient, I did not have to wait a week or more to get an appointment with him. I will be making him my primary dentist!

I just moved to the area recently. I have had a lot of dental issues throughout my life. 8 years of braces, yadda yadda. This is the first time IN HISTORY that I was seen within 20 minutes of entering the office, then was seen and treated by him and out the door within 45 minutes. He was super nice, matter of fact, and helpful. I was so pleased and am happy that I found a dentist I can trust in NYC

Dr. Gerber was great. I did walk into the office with no-one at the desk to greet, though when the assistant arrived she was very kind and polite. I'm low maintenance, but can see how people could be confused by this. I waited just over a half-hour past my appointment time but received my x-ray and diagnosis very quickly. I was prescribed medication and recommended to an oral surgeon for a wisdom tooth extraction. He was very kind and to the point, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, and probably due to my ignorance, I was under the assumption that the extraction would've happened that day in this office and I wouldn't have to wait another week to schedule an appointment with a surgeon.

Let me start with the fact that I have multiple dental problems. Dr. Gerber was very patient, attentive and had excellent manners, desire to teach and explain. He was gentle and I was very comfortable when I left his office with clear plan. The office was renovated and clean, I was seen promptly and the follow up call was placed as well. Billing plan was clear.

Dr Gerber doesn’t normally see kids but he saw I was a concern mom and he took a look at my son and directed me to the right person that can assist me. He was lovely his assistant was so generous when we got there he was awesome. I think his name was Carlos.
