About Dr. Dong Lee
Raised in Korea and shaped by a strong sense of duty, Dr. Dong Kyu Lee began his professional journey with service in the U.S. Army, where he developed leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills that continue to influence his approach to dentistry.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lee then completed a two-year General Practice Residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, serving as Chief Resident, where he gained advanced training in comprehensive and complex dental care.
Fluent in English and Korean, Dr. Lee is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse communities, combining clinical excellence with a deep commitment to service.

I had an excellent experience at Beyond Dentistry during my recent routine checkup and cleaning.
Dr. Lee was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the visit feel very comfortable and reassuring. You can tell they truly care about long-term dental health rather than just a quick exam.
Christine, the hygienist, was outstanding—gentle, precise, and very attentive throughout the cleaning. It was one of the most comfortable cleanings I’ve had, and she also gave helpful tips for maintaining better oral hygiene at home.
The entire visit was smooth, efficient, and welcoming from start to finish. The office is clean, modern, and well-organized, and the staff overall is friendly and respectful.
Highly recommend Beyond Dentistry for anyone looking for quality care and a positive dental experience

Dr. Lee was thoughtful, careful, and clear in setting out, and talking through, treatment options for a complex set of dental issues that had bothering me for a time.
