About Dr. Edward Paul
Dr. Paul received a D.D.S., degree from N.Y.U. After graduating from the Bronx High School of Science, Dr. Paul was accepted into New York University’s combined degree program that gave him acceptance into dental school after only three years of undergraduate college. In 2012, Dr. Paul received the Academy of General Dentistry’s Fellowship Award (FAGD), granted to only 3% of active dentists in the United States.
Following his dental school graduation in the top 5% of his class in 1987, he completed a one-year general practice residency and a two-year specialty training residency in prosthodontics (the specialized area of dentistry concentrating on implants, bridges, crowns, and dentures) at the Manhattan Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.
Well-respected within the professional community, Dr. Paul taught at Lutheran Medical Center in New York, instructing new dental school graduates in prosthodontics and helping to set and maintain standards for the profession.
Dr. Paul is licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, and his exceptional credentials are combined with a deep compassion for his patients and commitment to their comfort. Dr. Paul’s professional affiliations include active membership in:

In 1991, Dr. Paul opened his office in Norwalk, where he continues to live with his family. Dr. Paul is an exercise enthusiast and has a strong passion for bicycle riding. He has completed dozens of century (100-mile) events on his bicycle and he rides several thousand miles annually. He has also acquired extensive knowledge about physical fitness, strength and aerobic training, and weight management techniques.

I had a fabulous visit to Dr. Paul. I tend to be skeptical of dentists as I have had bad experiences before, but Dr. Paul's office was polite and professional, and the doctor put me at ease with light conversation before we even got into the substance of the visit. He was proactive in telling me about my options regarding X-rays, and which option would be more economical, which I appreciated. He walked me through the results and was straightforward in assessing any potential issues, and in telling me where he didn't think work was necessary. I had a great visit and look forward to coming back.
