THE PROFESSIONAL SIDE
Dr. Elise Tigani Endres received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2019. While in dental school, Dr. Tigani was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society and received the Dean’s Research Award, the Dean’s Award for Community Service, the President’s Student Leadership Institute Certificate and a Certificate in Dental Public Health. She also received an award from the American Association of Orthodontists for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex.
Dr. Tigani has an abundant amount of research experience and several publications associated with the ADA Foundation at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Department of Neuroscience and Orthodontics at University of Maryland, and a 3M Pilot Study Regarding Invisalign Technology. Dr. Tigani is currently finishing her second year of Orthodontic Residency at University of Maryland and is excited to receive her Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters in Oral Biology in June 2022.
THE PERSONAL SIDE
Hello! My name is Elise. I grew up in Bethesda, MD, lived in the Bronx, NY for college, and have lived in Baltimore, MD for the last 6 years during dental school and orthodontic residency. I am proud and humbled to be a part of a large family of dentists, and have worked alongside my father, Dr. Tigani, since I was 16 years old. To say I am excited to finally join my role model in practice would be an understatement! I met Dr. Endres while in dental school, and could not be luckier to also practice alongside my husband (he is secretly my role model as well but don’t tell him that)! I think it’s safe to say I love spending time with my family whether it’s at home or at work. Because of such a strong family foundation, I also consider all my patients family as well. There is nothing I enjoy more than being able to develop relationships with my patients.
