In 2008 Dr. Dekhtyar completed her certification in Implantologyat Montefeiore Medical center. Dr Ella has been in practice for over 17 years now! She is very well known in the State of New York. Dr. Dekhtyar continues to take continuing education courses till this day to allow her to implement the latest cutting edge technology and treatment which can be more useful in her practice.. She is a lifetime learner. She is a compassionate dentist who dedicates her life to giving beautiful and healthy smiles to her patients. She is one of the most highly regarded dentists in the community. Dr. Dekhytar has received multiple awards in 2010 & 2012. Dr. Dekhtyar specializes in cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic dentistry and implantology. Patient’s comfort and concerns are priorities during treatment in her office.

Friendly & knowledgeable team that delivered high quality care. The doctor and medical team took the time to answer all of my questions, provided a helpful post-examination consultation, and performed a thorough cleaning. Everything was conducted with a very efficient workflow (practically zero waiting). Nicely designed patient rooms. Would recommend 100%.

This is a clean and nice office, but I consistently have to wait at least 45 minutes to be seen with no explanation or apology. I almost always have to remind them that I have been waiting. They are good at what they do, but the wait time is prohibitively long, I’m not sure if I would continue to come unless changes are made.

She was very quick and I felt like she didn't listen to what I wanted. She wasn't communicative on what she was doing and I think she did my "cleaning" half heartedly (which is weird that she also did the cleaning). I had to spit using a plastic cup instead of her cleaning out my mount. She said she could do my fillings with out numbing me but when it hurt it was like it was incovient for her to numb me. and when she finally did, she went in too early and it was still sensitive. Do not recommend this practice.

Had a great experience. Definitely worth recommending. Was seen almost immediately after completion of my registration. My son was even seen as an add on when he came in with me.

I really like the dentist herself, but the 50 minute wait was kind of excessive. It was also confusing prior to my cleaning to know who was the dentist because the hygienist did not introduce herself. She wasn't unfriendly, just quiet. Besides the wait, I was very happy with my experience.

Dr. Ella Dekhtyar is a lovely dentist and I highly recommend her. patiently explained everything during my exam and cleaning, showed me the x-rays Marina of my teeth, and fixed my cavity painlessly and quickly. She offered honest guidance without being condescending, and was pleasant in all our interactions. Office is beautiful and the staff is great too. 10/10 would use them again.
