About Dr. Elochukwu Adibe

I hope to improve the quality of life for my patients by first bringing their mouths to a state of health, then providing the desired cosmetic or functional reconstruction. I enjoy patient interaction and the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Being in this fortunate position allows me to listen and learn from the many perspectives my patients offer. I make it a point to listen carefully, gathering detailed information about their past dental experiences, expectations, and goals for treatment. This helps me formulate a customized treatment plan tailored specifically to each individual. My best quality is my ability to listen.
I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I completed residencies in General Practice and Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center. Additionally, I have advanced training in surgical implants from The Misch International Implant Institute.

Great bedside manner. The prosthodontist and dental hygienist at Clearbrook are wonderful. They are very calm and collected and nice to talk to which helps calm me down when it comes to going to to the dentist. Dr. Adibe is very professional and kind. And the dental hygienist was gentle, which is extremely important to me when it comes to choosing people that will be dealing with my teeth and moving my head around. It is generally an uncomfortable experience and they made it as comfortable as possible and answered all of my questions and and addressed my concerns without judgment. I am happy with my experience.

Dr. Adibe is a superb denist, and probably the only one that I have actually enjoyed/looked forward to my visits. He is kind and friendly, and always aware of listening to his patients needs first. His staff is friendly and it is pretty easy to work around my schedule for an appointment.
If we weren't moving out of state (600 miles away) soon, he would be my forever dentist, we like him that much!

I had my annual cleaning done here last year. On the day of my visit , i spoke to the older caucasian lady at the front desk to check in. Unfortunately, the check in process was online and i wasnt aware of that since this was my first time at this facility. The lady threw a hissy fit and blamed me for missing the sms that the office sends out. She was uncooperative throughout and was more interested in pinning the blame on me and making me feel worse about it.
I was taken aback and disappointed with the poor level of service provided at this place. The lady was deliberately going out of her way to make me feel unwelcome and harass me the best she could. I remained calm and professional throughout this experience.
The doctor saw me and recommended some filling that needed to be done for the subsequent visit. I requested the lady at the front desk for an estimate of the treatment that was being recommemded. All of the dentists i have visited in the past work with insurance companies directly and provide an estimate. The lady being the unpleasant person she is blamed me for making her talk to the insurance company for hours on the phone. I politely refused to schedule my next appointment until i see an estimate. The lady throughtout was trying to pressurize me into scheduleing the next appointment - I plain refused and politely ended the conversation and stepped out of the office.
Goes without saying - i never set foot into this office ever again. Health care for me has two part to it "Health" and "Care". Unfortunately there is no "care" at this place. Here is what i concluded from this experience - the lady from her body language , her gaze , her tone and the way she treated me came accross as prejudiced and felt she could get way with it. I felt i was singled out for this kind of treatment. It then becomes my absolute responsibility to put this experience out for everyone to know about.

Such a great experience (considering I hate going to the dentist!!)The office is nice and clean and the check in process was seamless! Dr. Abide is an excellent dentist. I had to see him for an infected molar to be extracted. He was kind, light-hearted, and had an all-around ideal demeanor that you look for in a healthcare professional. He took the time to make sure my infection was dealt with, that I was out of pain, and that the unpleasant process of having a tooth pulled, was as pleasant as possible (not easy). His dental assistant Jade was fantastic and a real sweetheart. Marlene, his receptionist, also a lovely woman and stays on top of all appointments and followups like clockwork. This is a fine practice. I would recommend this dentist and his staff to anyone.
