Dr Emanuel Abayev is a Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Growing up in Flushing Queens, Dr Abayev attended New York University College of Dentistry, one of the nations top dental schools, to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He graduated with honors and distinction and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Dr Abayev then furthered his dental training by attending a one-year general practice residency at Kings County Hospital. He was then granted the opportunity to advance his training and education in the field of Orthodontics at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Orthodontic Program. Dr Abayev excels in his profession by staying up to date with the latest orthodontic advances through his involvement with numerous profession organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeasthern Orthodontic Association, and the New York State Dental Association.

My initial visit turned into subsequent follow ups. I've had a deplorable experience with my previous orthodontist because I was 4 years with my braces on a 2 year contract and they no longer continued to treat my overbite. So I decided to check out Dr. Abayev to see if he could help me and he sure did! He was able to fix my teeth in just 6-7 months after our initial consultation and provide me with a retainer (Invisalign) all for a decent charge. He didn't have to continue treatment being that he wasn't the doctor who initially placed on my braces but he did it out of the kindness of his heart and his vast knowledge and caring bed side manner helped me to know that I was in good hands. I used to be so self conscious with my teeth and my braces now I can smile for no reason. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. ABAYEV!! You're awesome!

Even though it was just a consultation for braces and surgery for a misaligned jaw, he was so helpful and knowledgeable, patient, and made me feel good about the payment plans and the pros and cons of braces. I have never been to a medical professional that was not only so versed, but also laid out the step-by-step process necessary to make sure that I don't have an underbite or TMJ issue anymore. I look forward to seeing him soon for my new set of braces!
