I really wanted to like this practice, but the experience ultimately fell short of what New Yorkers should expect from a modern dental office.
The technology feels frozen in the early 2000s, which immediately raises concerns about quality and precision. Compounding that issue, the assistants appear to be pre-dental college students who are clearly inexperienced. Simple tasks were handled clumsily, and every visit came with upselling of additional services, which felt more like a sales pitch than patient care.
Most concerning were the clinical outcomes. During a routine single-tooth filling, the dentist numbed my entire tongue—something I’ve never experienced before—and it took an uncomfortably long time to regain sensation. Even worse, the filling fell out in less than two months, calling the quality of the work into question.
The only real bright spot is the dentist’s bedside manner. She was genuinely kind, calm, and personable, which helps in the moment.

Dr. Yakubova is fantastic dentist.... she puts patients at ease and completes procedures efficiently. She took care of my filling, and also identified problem areas that I can work on taking care of now, and preventing future dental problems.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yakubova for over 10 years. I have had basic dentistry, dentures and many other procedures in between. Along with scheduled visits, Dr. Yakubova has extended herself to me on days off. Recomendations of other specific specialties needed were provided with excellent doctors in outside offices. The office environment is above standard with immaculate cleanliness throughout.
