About Dr. Esther Pincus
Dr. Esther Levine Pincus attended Barnard College of Columbia University, where she was voted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After dental school, Dr. Pincus returned to her native roots in Long Island, completing her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s (LIJ) Medical Center of Northwell Health, where she was chief resident of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Pincus is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Harvard Odontological Society, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Pincus’s research interests include dental education, which she has presented on at national conferences.
Dr. Pincus is a Long Island native, born and raised in West Hempstead, NY and now resides in Oceanside with her physician husband and her four children.
Dr. Pincus is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry, where she teaches dental students and pediatric dental residents appropriate treatment plans for pediatric patients and supervises patient care.
Dr. Pincus has practiced in New York, Connecticut, and Chicago. Her goal is to make visits stress-free for parents, while providing the best dental treatment for children. In her spare time, Dr. Pincus runs half marathons, practices yoga, and loves to spend time with her husband and children.

I’d give 100 stars if I could! Dr Pincus was absolutely incredible and made my daughters very first dentist appointment beyond enjoyable! My little girl can’t wait to go back and see her again! Dr. Pincus sang songs as she used tools in my daughters mouth and was so patient with my daughter. After the appointment the nurse gave my daughter some toys and the waiting room had a lot of fun games to play! As a mom who gets anxiety going to the dentist herself, this was an overall incredible experience!

Dr Esther ( as she refers to herself to the little ones ) is the best ! She very kind ,patient and has a lovely singing voice. Yes, she sings to the kids when they’re anxious. She took the time to explain in great detail the treatment plan for my child. Thank you so much .

I was so happy with Dr. Pincus! She made us feel so welcome and did a great job of making my anxious daughter feel comfortable. She answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. There were lots of games to play in the waiting room, even a claw machine for prizes! My daughter especially loved watching Netflix while getting her cavities filled! 10/10 recommend.

My son loves Dr.Pincus!! I was nervous as a first time mom to bring him to the dentist but she took care of my son as her own. She was very patient and informative. My son now looks forward to going to the dentist. Can’t wait to come back!!!
