About Dr. Evalina Josefsson
She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow school of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC), where she graduated with honors. Following dental school, she continued with a 2 year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Herman Ostrow school of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
Following completion of her residency she became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry where she maintains her diplomate status. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr Josefsson holds an active faculty position at USC in the department of Advanced Pediatric Dentistry and a Hospitalist Dentist at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles where she loves to help medically complicated patients and children with special health care needs.
Dr. Josefsson is surrounded by medical professionals in her family. She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband, a General Dentist and their two children. She truly enjoys entertaining at home, taking road trips and spending time with family. She is passionate of how to make dentistry a positive experience that will encourage your children to care for their teeth for life!

Genuinely was scared for my 2 year old. But absolutely couldn't have asked for a better dentist + assistant.
They were so gentle and cautious with how they cared for my daughter during her teeth examination and cleaning. The Dentist explained everything thoroughly and parent friendly. She showed us all the many tools we can utilize for our daughters oral cavity to support with dental hygiene.

Such a great experience!! Every single staff member was so kind and welcoming. My son does NOT do well with Dr visits in general and when we saw DDS Evalina for my son’s first appointment I was so impressed. From her supportiveness, to clear communication about what was happening, to making my son feel comfortable and include him in ‘helping her’ it really made my heart happy to see him so comfortable. 10/10 recommend bringing your children here!!

Dr. Josefsson is the best. She's very gentle and kind with my daughter and is very knowledgeable and explains what she's doing as she goes which makes me and my wife feel very comfortable. I recommend Dr. Josefsson to all parents.

My experience was good from the minute I walked in to the minute I left. I love that the staff is so friendly and the doctor has good bed side manner. I took my one year old for her first time check up and of course she she was scared but the assistant was so friendly and reinsuring that it made her feel comfortable. If your looking for a good dentist for your child give this office a try, trust you won’t regret it.

Dr. Josefsson is hands down the best pediatric dentist my kids have seen. Her calm and gentle demeanor is exactly what my kids needed to calm their anxiety of a dental appointment. I appreciate how knowledgeable she was when explaining conditions to me and explaining them in a way the children can also be involved in understanding their own dental concerns. Great provider! Highly recommend!
