About Dr. Faisal Mir
Dr. Faisal Mir is a distinguished graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency training at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City, New York. Dr. Mir is trained as a general dentist focusing on cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. He has extensive training in endodontic therapy (root canal treatment), and periodontal surgery (gum treatment). He is also a certified Invisalign provider (clear braces).
Dr. Mir values the importance of high quality patient care and satisfaction. He has extensive knowledge and experience using state of the art technology and techniques to ensure his patient’s dental visit is a pleasant one.
Dr. Mir is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, DC Dental Society, and Virginia Dental Association. He continues to attend educational seminars to provide his patients with the latest treatment options using evidenced-based and cutting-edge technological advances and methods.

This is an issue with Zocdoc. The office had no idea i had an appointment even though I had all the confirmation emails coming from Zocdoc. Including a prompt saying "how was your visit"? A complete waste of my time.

They were very understanding of my situation (many years w/o dental insurance) and worked with me to find a good plan to get things to where they needed to be. No complaints, except that the doctor I saw was not the one whose name was on all the materials - he was great, it just created a weird anonymity.

Was a great experience. Was seen promptly, minimal waiting. Staff was welcoming and incredibly friendly. My only surprise is that the picture on zocdoc shows a male dentist, but my dentist was female, but no complaints, I was pleasantly surprised.

Dr Mir and his staff were super friendly and efficient. I was originally terrified of getting my cleaning but it was so well done my dear dropped half way through. Got some great tips and recommendations on my current dental hygiene. So happy to find this gem in my neighborhood!

I had an awesome experience at Dr. Mir’s office. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I was seen immediately by his team and there was no delay for Dr. Mir to come in and perform his portion of the exam. He provided very clear and reasoned advice on handling my situation. He was also extremely welcoming. Although I had only reserved an issue related exam, the hygienist was available to perform a routine cleaning as well. She did a great job and was also very friendly and welcoming. This is best experience I have had with a dentist office.

By far the best dentist I've been to! The staff is friendly and accommodating and Dr. Mir is a true professional! Efficient and considerate, excellent bed side mannor. I was nervous about having crowns done and he answered all of my questions thoroughly and showed me photos of the previous work he's done. You can tell he takes a great deal of pride in his cosmetic work and is eager to please his patients.

The entire staff is very pleasant and thorough. It was a return visit for me. The building isn't glitzy, and parking is problematic, but the staff -- receptionists, hygienist, and dentist -- were worth going back for.
