Dr. Kia has never considered dentistry as merely a clinical exercise. For her, it is the practice of a ?caring art? through which she can improve other people's lives. She believes that a genuinely concerned dentist should ultimately make a person feel comfortable and better.
Dr. Kia graduated from prestigious international universities: she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at New York University College of Dentistry with honors in family dentistry, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Summa Cum Laude at Semmelweis University. She completed her residency in General Dentistry at Lincoln Medical Center, Bronx, affiliated with the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical College. Lincoln Hospital, a Level I trauma center and one of the busiest programs in the USA, has a top-notch oral surgery program.
During her residency, Dr. Kia worked closely with the oral surgery team and immersed herself in dental surgical solutions. While on call at the emergency department, she was responsible for the professional treatment and restoration of various face-related injuries, trauma, and disease. In her second year as chief resident, she further enhanced her experience in surgical extractions, root canal therapy, aesthetic work, and implant dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Kia holds a position as an attending dentist at the NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, where she teaches residents and treats patients. Her versatile international experience practicing dentistry in Asia, Europe, and the USA has provided her with extensive knowledge of a wide range of dental and medical techniques and procedures.

The place just makes up that you don't actually have an appointment and makes the bare minimum effort to inform you that your appointment time does not work. Receptionist is incredibly rude and does not treat patients well. The doctor is good when you get to see her, but I had a really poor experience all around and with a busy schedule was frustrated that I made the effort to schedule an appointment and went to the appointment and they sent me home.

The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Kia is very thorough and her hygienist took her time with my cleaning. Reason for 4 stars is because they gave me a fluoride paste at the end of my cleaning, that was not covered under my insurance, and billed me $55. When I got home I looked on Amazon and I could have got a 12 oz tube of paste for $12.99. I take it as a lesson learned, but they probably should have been a bit more courteous and asked me first.

Office atmosphere, staff and service is epic. Hygienist did a wonderful job. She is so detailed oriented, I was taken aback. Dental assistant was very professional and friendly. Dr. Kia took her time to go over the imaging results and treatment plan. There is TV monitor right over the treatment chair with a nice streaming video and soothing music. Perfect experience. 100% satisfied.
