He achieved Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Fellow status of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry—two of the highest standards in oral implantology, bone grafting, and prosthetics. He remains committed to advancing techniques and innovations in these areas. Dr. Leone earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University and completed residencies in Endodontics at NYU and Oral Surgery at Bellevue Hospital Center. He also completed a Fellowship in Implant, Surgical, and Prosthetics at NYU. He has extensive postgraduate training in endodontics, implantology, and intravenous sedation at NYU, the Medical College of Georgia, and Montefiore Hospital. Passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge of bone grafting, implantology, and innovative techniques he helped pioneer, Dr. Leone has consulted on implant course design globally. He has held teaching positions at NYU and delivered lectures and continuing education courses for select implant companies.
