“I see Dr. Diana Levingart regularly and it's always a pleasure to be seen by her but I have one complaint. I was scheduled for a procedure and the receptionist/office manager said she would let me know the cost under my insurance. I didn't hear back so I called the office again and she said she would call me back with the cost. A month has now passed and I still haven't received a call back. I don't want this to reflect badly on the dentist because she is exemplary but the office administration seems a bit disorganized. ”

Dr. Garry Levingart is a skillful and artistically-minded cosmetic dentist serving the communities of Manhattan and Brooklyn. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Science degree from New York University College of Dentistry College of Dentistry. Dr. Levingart's passion for cutting-edge dental technologies and state-of-the-art techniques has led to his attaining a fellowship in Laser Dentistry, extensive training in CAD/CAM technology, Six Month Smiles, Invisalign, Orthosnap and has completed post-graduate studies in Implantology at New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Levingart founded Central Park Dentists in 1989, with his wife Dr. Bela Levingart. Here, he uses his advanced technical skills to create healthy and beautiful smiles through the combined use of Mercury-free, BPA-free ceramic restorations, Veneers, E-max and all-ceramic crowns, orthodontics, root canal therapy, and laser gum therapy.

I had an issue with this dental office. They charged me for a service that was covered by my insurance. My insurance got involved, but the dental office kept giving me and them the run around. It was a long, drawn out process for me to get my money back.

I waited for more than an hour before being seen, and when I was seen, the woman who was treating me had awful bedside manner. She did not care in the slightest about my comfort. Dr. Garry Levingart's manner was excellent, but he was so late that I had to leave without proper consultation. I spent nearly 2 hours just to get a cleaning and a 5 min conversation.

I was extremely unhappy with the management of my dental care. He told me I needed a crown which was covered by my insurance but neither he nor anyone in his office explained that he would do a crown lengthening procedure that was not covered. He completed the first part of the procedure and then his clerk told me that I would have to pay an extra money for a procedure I didn’t know I was having.

Scheduled teeth cleaning and it did not feel thorough. They basically did the bare minimum and then tried to upsell me and charge me more for deeper cleaning. Would not recommend.

The receptionist was extremely rude. They told me I needed 4 fillings replaced. I let them replace "the worst one." My face was numb after the procedure for much longer than usual. My next dentist told me that nothing was wrong with my fillings at all. There are better, more honest dentists out there. Keep looking.

Dr. Levingart was very thorough in explaining procedures before executing, as well as why. He made sure to me through medical options & timeline/sequence before having me make a decision (which of course he gave me time to do). Also, very patient with making sure my mount was properly numb before doing any work.

The two dentists at this practice are excellent. Father and daughter. Lovely people. The receptionist however...wow. Make sure you call to confirm you appointment and th nature of your visit after booking on zocdoc as she does not copy over the scheduling details. After three visits using zocdoc I can confirm this was not a fluke.

It was okay. Nothing to rave about. Dr. was standard and did not meet my expectations. Prior to coming in, I read some of the other reviews and I was expecting greatness. Definitely fell short of that. Hygienist was informative and took her time to clean my teeth. Front desk was mediocre. Nice, but I should have been told about the hour wait. The waiting area is way too small. Not enough seats to accommodate incoming patients.

Dr. Garry Levingart is professional and works efficiently. I went in for a post root canal check up and mold measurements. Work was administered painlessly and without unnecessary delays. Happy to have found Dr. Levingart.

I visited twice -once the computers were down so I had to come again for x rays. I get the x rays and i'm told I need to have teeth pulled and to get a bridge while I was in severe pain, meanwhile they could have performed a pulpotomy to relieve the pain and later discuss other options with me.
I felt they did not care about the level of pain I was in and were more interested in upselling me other dental procedures.

He's a really thorough and caring physician. I had a lot of concerns about the work that needed to be done and he put me at ease. Was not in very much discomfort at all! Seems to be the star neighborhood dentist.

Very nice doctor and staff but recommended a really expensive procedure that there is no way i needed seeing how my last dental checkup had been less than a year earlier (No way teeth decay that fast). I felt like they are in it for the money, seeing how much they can squeeze from you.

I liked his staff, and the place was nice, but then this dentist cleaned my teeth ruffly to the point that my head pulled with his pick, which I didn't like at all. He then proceeded to try to up-sell me on veneers for a full half hour when I explained I just wanted my cavities filled by my insurance and couldn't afford them.

Front desk and hygienists were very nice, although the Brooklyn office set up was a bit awkward. (Dentist chair/room was open ceiling format, no door & so you could hear everything from the waiting room).
I had a couple of fillings replaced- pretty standard, but procedure could've gone smoother/gentler by Dr. Levingart. Satisfactory overall... I've had better experiences with other dentists.

Excellent, caring and understanding. Dr. Levingart gave me a smile I can be proud of and made me comfortable every step of the way. I highly recommend him to anyone who cares for their health and values where their care comes from.

I only had cleaning of my teeth in this office, I had no wait time. Staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional. My dental hygienists seriously took in consideration my latex allergy and put on non-latex gloves right away. Office is super clean and modern with soft relaxing music and TV with subtitles. They went far and beyond in service. My cleaning was not painful. I have a next appointment in 2 weeks and would recommend them highly. I wish every medical office was like that!
