About Dr. George Barsa
I graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and have experience in root canals, crowns, bridges, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. I am also an officer in the Chicago Dental Society - West Side Branch and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
My philosophy as a dentist is to give my patients options for their care and then provide the best care possible based on their time frame, budget, and needs.
To better serve our patients, we have added digital x-rays, offer early morning, night, and weekend hours, are in network with most insurance companies, accept the Kids Care program, and offer payment plans.

Very pleased, he was friendly, communicate, bright clean office with friendly staff. I was most impressed by their procedure for handling insurance. They gave me a sheet explaining the cost of procedures I was to have done with the amount insurance would cover and then what I would pay out of pocket. This is the first time I have ever seen this and it was so nice not to have to guess or be surprised by a bill.

Very professional, easily explains break down of insurance coverage and fees, along with top of the line air sanitization devices in each room. UVC LIGHTS is used after every visitor to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
Dr. Barsa cares a lot about his work space and protecting himself, staff and patients. His office will always be recommended by me.

It was one of my best dentist experiences. Dr. Barsa was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. His staff provided me a break-down of what the insurance pays vs. what I owe, which I really appreciated. Dr. Barsa was very understanding of my anxiety to see a dentist, and even gave me a cup of coffee to make me more comfortable.

This was by far the best dentist visit I have ever had. I typically avoid dental offices for their cold nature and drilling techniques but Dr. Barsa was so welcoming and warm that I was overwhelmed with positive emotions. I recommend him as a dental specialist because of his bedside manner, but more importantly because of his transparency in treatment.

Barsa and his team at Confident Smiles have been amazing. He is truly a dentist whose passion is teeth and correcting smiles. He seems to care little about profit and tries to make money not an issue for his patients. He is a patient, honest, caring, experienced, and devoted dentist who loves what he does. I had a nightmare implant that no other dentist wanted to taken on for over a decade. Dr Barsa did and now I love my smile.

It was a female doctor. Too much anesthesia before a small procedure. To do 10-15 minutes filling, she made me numb more than 5 hours.

Dr. Barsa was terrific. He was very thorough when explaining a plan for my dental care. He gave me several options when it came to making decisions for my dental health. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to explain everything in great detail. I would highly recommend him .

Dr. Barsa is more than patient. I am not good with dental problems or with things being stuck in my mouth (like hands, tools and x-ray stuff). He and his helpers have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable - and get the needed work accomplished. Dr. Barsa prepared and installed a crown for me, replaced large old fillings and filled a couple of small newer cavities.
When I was in one room, I heard him across the hall working with a young child. He was incredibly patient with someone with more anxiety than me!
I highly recommend him.

My first visit with Dr. Barsa was great. I can't say enough how impressed I was with the whole experience. I have never been a huge fan of the dentist experience (I mean, who is?), but this was a totally different experience than any before though.
Dr. Barsa was upbeat, positive, kind, and incredibly informative. We talked through every single X-ray image and tooth! One of the first things he said when he walked in the room was "I believe in treating every patient like they're a member of my family". It showed - you could tell the only thing on his mind was my well being. He was completely transparent about pricing and procedures, which was a pleasant surprise in today's world. I highly recommend Dr. Barsa and couldn't be happier with my decision.

Dr. Barsa was very courteous and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He is very upfront with the costs of additional work and although he does mention add-ons, he isn't pushy about them. I truly believe he has his patients' best interest at heart. Will most likely go back.

Dr. Barsa ans his staff are very friendly. I am impressed with the amount of technology he utilizes. He put on Netflix while I was in the chair and used the monitor to show my x-rays as well. They were digital and the ability to manipulate the images on the screen was helpful.
