About Dr. Hedieh Kousedghi
Dr. Kousedghi received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Shahid Beheshti University in 2007. She continued her education at Boston University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with high honors. She has experience in all aspects of dentistry, including Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge, Implant, Root Canal, and Pediatrics. Dentistry is her passion, and she actively participates in continuing education seminars and professional organizations. She strongly believes that all her patients must be treated like members of her family. She currently lives in Tysons Corner with her husband. When she is not working, she enjoys watching movies, dancing, and traveling.

Dr. Kousedghi and the rest of the staff were wonderful in every way. She was very friendly, professional, and empathetic; while explaining the purpose and findings throughout the exam. She was also very mindful about minimizing potential pain and discomfort. I was provided a detailed care plan with prioritized steps and I am very confident in the thoroughness of the exam and need for the different recommendations. The group has expertise in a breadth of areas ranging from sleep issues to surgery. I'm thrilled that I found Dr. Kousedghi and Bloom Dental.

The dentist is usually such an anxiety ridden experience but with Dr. Hedieh Kousedghi it felt so safe and easy. She was always concerned about my experience and how I was doing. This is my first dental appointment for the last few years. Dr. Kousedghi and her wonderful assistant are very professional and friendly as well as patient by articulating my treatment plans, clarifying all my questions, and continually comforting me and making me less stressful during dental procedures. I had my first deep cleaning during this visit, and it was great from start to finish. Additionally, Catherine (Dental Front Desk/ Patient Coordinator) is fantastic too! I emailed the office asking multiple questions prior to my first appointment, and Catherine provided providing very detailed and informative answers to help me better understand the expected dental procedures and my insurance coverage.

I have a phobia of the dentist. Dr. K made me feel very relaxed and her bedside manner was awesome. I have an upcoming appointment I feel confident I will return. I also like to add Dr. K was very respectful and considerate of her staff. I feel her kindness is genuine. I highly recommend Dr. K for your dental need.

Check-in was quick and I was seen right away by Dr. Kousedghi. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning, which I really appreciated. And the atmosphere of the office is also nice with peaceful music.

I love how comfortable this experience is. They have glasses so you aren’t looking up directly at the lights, they have tv so you can zone out, and my experience with Dr Kousedghi has always been very gentle.

A little bit of a mixed bag. The dentist did the cleaning herself, which I liked. I had a small cavity and there were multiple treatment options, and the dentist did not do a good job of explaining the pros and cons of each, and frankly seemed a little confused about why o had questions. She was also kind of dismissive to the dental hygienist (unfailingly said please and thank you, but talked to her in a way I perceived as demeaning).

It’s a wife/husband dentist team. Both are really great as is the office staff. I’ve been going here for over a year now and I have a great experience every time, as much as you can for a dentist office. I typically am seen by the husband but Dr. Hedieh is very good the one time I saw here. They are open Saturdays which is very convenient and one of the reasons I first went there. Definitely recommend.
