“Best dentist’s visit I’ve had in this city. Other dentists are always trying to upsell their cosmetic services but Dr. Pyon was very focused on the reason for my visit. She spent extra care and attention on cleaning my teeth and clearly communicated the next necessary steps. Excellent bedside manner and not a single offer to “fix my smile.” The other staff were also very nice and friendly. Plus they have the Great British Bake Off playing on the TV so everything about this visit was very pleasant. Thank you everyone!”

Heejoo Pyon, DDS is a precise and attentive dentist specializing in cosmetic dentistry and serving her patients in New York City. Dr. Pyon's staff speaks English, Korean, Spanish and Japanese. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the New York County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association for Women Dentists.
Dr. Pyon is available to her patients from her solo practice that focuses on its low-volume clientele, high-quality and cutting-edge technology, and reducing dental anxiety for its patients.
During her final year at New York University, where she earned her dental degree, Dr. Pyon spent elective hours treating a special population of patients who sought political asylum in New York City from physical and mental torture in their respective countries. These patients exhibited extreme fear of the dental light, instruments, sounds and even water. After finishing her residency with heavy emphasis on call and emergency dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, Dr. Pyon worked with the underserved in Brooklyn, before working in private practice in Manhattan. Over the last eight years, Dr. Pyon is sharpened her proficiency in multiple dental implant systems, Invisalign clear braces, fillings, gum surgery, bridges, crowns, retainer installation, teeth extractions, veneers, broken tooth repair, dental cleaning and preventative care, sealant application, as well as TMJ therapy.
