About Dr. Henry Sharfaei

A 1992 graduate of Northwestern University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Sharfaei has extensive experience in endodontia, exodontia, crowns, bridges, veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation. He employs a personal practice style that embraces continuing education in new dental techniques, detailed attention to procedures, and warm, caring, responsible patient service. He served as an Associate Professor of Physiology and Pathology at Chicago National College of Naprapathy, Chicago, IL (1993–1995), where he conducted classes in Neurophysiology, Cardiovascular Physiology, Respiratory Physiology, Renal Physiology, Acid-Base Physiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Musculoskeletal Physiology, Immune Physiology, Reproductive Physiology, and Integumentary Physiology. Dr. Sharfaei is also an author, having co-authored numerous textbooks, supporting workbooks, and visual materials on Modern Sectional Anatomy published by Triton College Press (1990) and W.B. Saunders Co. (1992). He received the Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry in April 1993. Currently, Dr. Sharfaei is working toward diplomate status in Dental Sleep Medicine with LVI Global Institute and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a community volunteer and a devoted husband and father.
