He completed his pre-dental requirements with a focus on advanced biological sciences at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He then received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University, School of Dental Medicine in June 2006. His philosophy and approach to dentistry is based on Modern Minimally Invasive Dentistry (MMID). This conservative and modern approach to dentistry is based on current technology and the latest, superior dental materials. MMID has a foundation of evidence-based dentistry. Dr. Dehdashti has successfully completed over 200 hours of continuing education in dentistry. He does this to stay current and to learn the new trends of dentistry. He studies new techniques to find evidence-based results of what new products and techniques deliver the best for his patients (as opposed to what the new products claim). It is essential from his point of view to explore new ideas, materials and techniques targeting a comprehensive, minimally invasive and preventive evidence-based treatment to provide his patients with the highest level of excellence. Dr. Dehdashti is well known for his very polite and thorough bedside manner as well as his tireless commitment to providing and upholding the highest standard of dentistry. He has spent years keeping his technical excellence as sharp as it can be through his dedication to constant education and practice.
