Dr. Houn Young Kim welcomes you to Smile Center Silicon Valley! Born in South Korea, she left home at 15 to study abroad. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the School of Dentistry at West Virginia University in 2009. Since beginning her dental practice in 2012, Dr. Kim has built an excellent reputation in the area through a conservative and rigorous approach to diagnosis, exceptional clinical skills, quality equipment, and effective communication and education with her patients. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Mateo County Dental Society, and Special Care Dentistry Association.
