Dr. Ida Anjomshoaa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, renowned for her surgical skills and compassion for her patients. Dr. Ida, as her patients like to call her, comes from a multicultural upbringing. By being an active researcher with multiple publications in prestigious journals, such as the Journal of Maxillofacial Surgery, and attending continuing education courses, she continually strives to enhance her patient’s well-being.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Cum Laude in General Biology, at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), she received her dental doctorate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Anjomshoaa received her specialty certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from The Brooklyn Hospital Center where she served as Chief Resident in her final year and where she continues to maintain privileges treating patients with complicated oral surgical problems.
Dr. Anjomshoaa is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She diligently attends global medical conferences and collegial forums in order to keep abreast of the latest technologies and therapies within her specialty.

Loved Dr. Ida and the whole office! The entire staff was very nice and accommodating, after the Dr took out my wisdom tooth (in less than 30mins!) I had some unexpected issues to take care of, and they were able to get me in for a cavity filling immediately. I've had a lot of dental issues in the past 3yrs and this is the best dentist office that I've visited in NYC!

I saw a different doctor at this office. I was seen promptly, no wait. Had a molar removed and it took maybe 20-30 minutes total.
After the procedure, I was not prescribed any sort of pain medication, which I found odd and was annoying- it definitely prolonged my recovery time. I understand the stigma associated with opioid abuse at the moment, but not receiving anything for pain after having a huge tooth ripped out...the days after were not great and i wasn’t able to work.
Otherwise the experience was great, nurses and doctors very friendly and helpful. Will return for other dental work.

I saw Dr. Agababayev.
Walked in and was already put in an exam room before finishing the first-visit paperwork. Was seen by the assistant/nursing staff not 90 seconds later. Doc came in less than 5 minutes after they did their work.
I'm a very calm person, but the reason for my visit worried me a bit. The doc was just as straightforward with me as I was with him, which brought me back to my 'usual' level.
This specific problem required a borderline decision, and even though I made clear that price was less important to me than doing right by my teeth, he made a point to ensure I knew the cost. More importantly, he never made things seem like a bigger deal than they were. Only seemed to care about me being informed.
Most places would have made me come back, but my immediate problem was solved within 45 minutes, very professionally and with no pain at all.
I've been to more well-heralded dentists in the area, and, while they were all competent, none have made me feel more treated like a real person than this office.

I had one wisdom tooth pulled a few years ago and it was horrible. I am so greatful I found Dr. Anjomshoaa. It was a totally different experience. She was gentle and answered all my questions. If you need a tooth extracted come here.
