About Dr. Ida Rose
Dr. Ida Rose was born and raised in New Orleans. Upon completion of high school, she decided to stay in the city. Then Dr. Rose moved to Iowa to begin her journey in the field of dentistry.
In 1999, she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She completed a one-year general practice residency at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York. Driven by her love for children, Dr. Rose entered Howard University’s pediatric dental program in Washington, DC, where she earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry.
She is certified to administer oral sedation and pediatric advanced life support. In 2007, Dr. Rose earned her Diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has received awards such as one of Atlanta Magazine's Top Doctor Awards and Atlanta Parent Magazine's Mom Approved Dentists Award. She has privileges at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and is also on the staff at Wellstar Douglas for children who need general anesthesia.

Finding an amazing dentist is such a breath of fresh air. Dr. Rosa and staff were incredibly friendly and a joy to be around. She made my sons first visit with her despite all of the uncomfortable treatments he had to get done, enjoyable. I absolutely love her personality and expertise. I would recommend over and over again. I wish she treated adults :)

The clinic is so lovely, so pretty. TV everywhere, you can watch a movie when you having a examine. After that, they will give kids a gold coin to go to the toys machine pick a toy. My daughter likes that gold coin more than toys. She loves visit there.

The office is very chaotic, unorganized, ratchet, and full of women who look other women up and down like they did something wrong to them, when really they are just there for their child's appointment. The doctor got an attitude when we told her that we don't use fluoride toothpaste for my daughter (we use the Tom's brand) , which was hilarious and unprofessional.

Awesome visit! The staff was friendly and organized. I set my 2 kids up for an appointment on the ZOC DOC app for two consecutive time slots. I expected to spend a least a couple hours in the office. However, they called my kids back at the same time. One had x-rays and the other got their teeth cleaned then they switched. The dentist gave my wife and I her opinion on both kids' teeth. We set up our next appointment and was done in about 45 minutes. Awesome job!

Everyone was polite and courteous...would definitely recommend. We were in an accident on the way to our appointment and the staff was extremely genuine and concerned. They were very accommodating and helped my mom log on to WiFi so she could submit her thesis on time. Overall, a great experience!

This was my son's first dentist visit and I was very pleased. I wasn't even finished filling out paperwork and they called us back to be seen. I was beyond shocked. I was expecting to be waiting for at 10 mins; if not longer. Everyone was very friendly and patient. They went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable. The dental hygienist was very swift and efficient. The actual doctor took the time to answer any questions we had and was also very friendly. This will be my son's permanent dentist for sure.

The practice is always extremely efficient and the staff is always Friendly Dr Rose-Mize is such a natural with the children and my daughter is very comfortable with her It's nice to have zero anxiety when we are headed to the dentist

Dr. Rose- Mize treated our 4-yr old for a cavity. She helped to put my mind at ease when hearing the news of my little one having a cavity at such a young age =(. Dr.Rose-Mize took the time to speak with my husband and I and answer all of our questions and address our concerns. Our 4yr old was treated with such care and compassion,we are so grateful that we found such a wonderful dentist for our daughter.

It is always a pleasant experience visiting The Children's Dental Group (Lithia Springs). The staff is very friendly and understanding. Dr. Ida Rose-Mize has always been pleasant over the 5 yrs my boys have been coming to this locations.
