About Dr. Jacqueline Martin
Dr. Jacqueline S. Martin absolutely loves the field of dentistry. She knew she wanted to be a dentist since the age of eight. Dr. Martin completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland. She holds active State Dental Board Licenses in both Washington, D.C., and Maryland. She has attended several health mission trips to Jamaica to provide dental care for hundreds of underprivileged residents. Dr. Martin has owned and operated a private dental practice in downtown Washington, D.C., for over twenty years.
Dr. Martin is a patient-focused dentist with a commitment to providing quality, compassionate, comprehensive dental care. She provides outstanding treatment in all areas of dentistry but particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry. As a general dentist, Dr. Martin has received additional training and certification in Straight Wire Orthodontics (traditional braces), Invisalign and Clear Correct (invisible aligners). She most recently received training and certification in Dermal Fillers and Therapeutic Botox for the treatment of TMJ disorders due to clinching/grinding. Dr. Martin is fully dedicated to delivering superior dentistry and continually exceeds her patients’ expectations in service, comfort, and quality.
Dr. Martin has a wonderful husband and two beautiful sons. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, picnicking, and relaxing at the beach. She also has a love of motorcycles and dancing.

Dr. Martin and her staff (X-ray tech, hygienist, and front desk) are best in class. All are friendly and professional, and made me feel welcome and relaxed throughout the procedure. I wish I discovered Dr. Martin years ago. Lots of nearby parking and is also metro accessible.

10/10 would recommend. Dr. Martin has a wonderful beside manner. She greeted me upon arrival for my appointment along with her staff. Everyone was so friendly! Yeni the dental hygienist offered me great tips and answered my questions. Anna and Marcella were also lovely as well in helping do my X-rays. As someone who had horrible experiences at the dentist when I was younger, I am so grateful to have found such a great practice. Will definitely let my friends and family know to come here!

Waited 20 minutes to have cleaning begun. None of my online forms were accepted, even text messages exchanged prior. Office was not clean - filters all flashing they needed to be changed, sunglasses not wiped down between patients, floss left out in a strand to collect whatever germs were in the air. Was scheduled a follow up without checking my availability and was not offered fluoride (even at own expense). Cleaning was of average quality, but flossing and polishing may have been the most haphazard and casual I've had in my life.

Dr. Martin was hands down one of the best dentists I have been to. She takes time with her patients, and her bedside manner is unmatched. No one likes going to the dentist, but she gives me a reason to want to come back. The staff was friendly and caring. Highly recommend!

I really liked how friendly and open everyone was as soon as I walked in. I was running about five minutes behind, and I was still able to be seen right away.
