About Dr. Jacqueline Zamani
Jacqueline Zamani, DDS, aka “Dr. Jackie,” is passionate about helping children have positive dental experiences and healthy smiles. Her goal is to be a positive influence in children’s lives and to empower them to take pride in their smiles and their oral health.
Dr. Jackie was born and raised in Bel Air, MD. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology with honors from The George Washington University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, one of the most prestigious dental schools in the country. Dr. Jackie completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, followed by a Pediatric Dental Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is Board Certified (Diplomate) by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and serves as a part-time clinical instructor at NYU Dental School. Dr. Jackie is a member of The American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Northeast Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Jackie loves spending quality time with her daughters, Roxy (5) and Lexi (1), and her husband, Ali. They enjoy traveling together and exploring New York City!

Doctor Zamani (Doctor Jackie) is AWESOME! My little 6 year old son enjoys his appointments so much that he looks forward to them and so do I. Doctor Jackie is amazing with kids. She is a mom and knows what it is like to be a parent. She is caring and empathetic to her little patients and their families. Seeing her feels like seeing a trusted friend or family member.

To sum up our experience: As we were leaving, my daughter asked when we could go back to Dr. Jackie’s office. They are excellent!
From the minute we walked in, you could tell this place was designed for kids. Dr. Jackie’s receptionist (I unfortunately can’t remember her name) is awesome. As I filled out paperwork, she helped my two year old play a Sesame Street alphabet game on an iPad. We were taken back quite quickly.
For the cleaning, my daughter didn’t feel comfortable sitting in the dental chair herself (they do have a booster seat for young kids), so the receptionist volunteered to rock my two month old. She held him too (I asked), keeping him calm for me to focus on my daughter. My daughter got to pick a tv show to watch from the tv that’s mounted to the ceiling for during the cleaning. Dr. Jackie is very interactive, kid-friendly and a great explainer. My daughter felt very at ease — a rarity at the dentist. Everything there is animal or toy themed, including the holder for the toothpaste, the bib and Dr. Jackie’s mask. Not a detail is missed here to make kids comfortable!
It was a very quick and efficient appointment, and my daughter got to pick toys and stickers at the end. We’re looking forward to our next appointment!

My first visit for my 1 year old son went swimmingly well.
I chose Dr. Jacqueline after researching many pediatric dentists based on the phenomenal reviews and she didn't disappoint.
I was very nervous because my son doesn't like me or anyone poking in his mouth if it doesn't have anything to do with food. The office is very clean, child friendly and the staff are all wonderful, friendly and animated.
We were seen right away and Dr. Jacqueline was very quick and most importantly efficient in how she cleaned my son's teeth through his tears. She answered all the questions and did not make us feel rushed or like just another patient.

Dr.Zamani was amazing. My one year old needed some fill-ins and cleaning and she was frank yet kind about what needed to be done. The process was a bit daunting for me and my partner as first time parents but not only did she do a quick an efficient job, but made sure to check in with us and ask how we were doing as well. She made me feel completely comfortable and although my son was upset(which was expected), I’m happy that she gave us time to comfort him and was patient with the process. I would recommend every parent to Dr.Zamani, she is wonderful!

My 20 month-old had her very first dental appt with Dr. Zamani and although she cried during the cleaning, she was fine. Dr. Zamani has a wonderful bedside manner and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I didn’t feel rushed at all and was very comfortable with her. So happy we chose her for our first visit!

Dr. Zamani is exactly what you are looking for in a pediatric dentist. She knows exactly how to speak to a child to take any fears or concerns that they might have. Visit went well. I think one of the best out there. Still seeing her to date for my little girl who really enjoys and looks forward to her visits. It's a clean and comfortable environment that is absolutely kid friendly. Dr. Zamani is an excellent dentist. She explained everything to me as she went through the procedures. It was my daughter's first time at the dentist and she had a great experience. We also had to go back to get a tooth removal and the Dr. was great. My daughter was neverous but she was very kind to my daughter and so patient with her that my daughter still wants to go back to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Zamani.

Had a root canal on a 6 yr old and the doctor could not have been more professional nor more disarming with my daughter. Her bedside manner with children is impeccable -- lots of positive reinforcement and distractions. I was impressed and my daughter left a 90 minute dentist visit smiling from ear to eat.

Dr. Zamani was absolutely amazing! She made my sons first visit fun and entertaining and he does not do well with doctors at all. I have already recommended her and her practice to my family over the weekend! We will definitely be going back.
