About Dr. Jalal Fatehi

Dr. Jalal Fatehi is a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in New York, NY, and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990. Following dental school, he completed a year of Advanced General Dentistry and an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, New York, in 1996. Dr. Fatehi specializes in the full scope of oral pathology and oral reconstruction, with particular interests in implantology, maxillofacial trauma, challenging tooth and wisdom tooth extractions, and aesthetic reconstruction.
