About Dr. Jeffrey Lide
Dr. Lide received his dental degree in 1995 from Baylor College of Dentistry. In addition, to starting his successful practice from scratch in 1995, he served as an Associate Professor for six years at Baylor College of Dentistry. He has since been serving the community of Richardson, TX and surrounding areas with his expertise, professionalism, and pleasant chair-side manner.
Dr. Lide was born and raised in the great state of Texas and had intentions early on of having a private practice in the Richardson, TX area after obtaining his dental license. He continues to evolve with the cutting edge of dentistry by continuously attending advanced Continuing Education curriculum.
He is certified in Conscious Oral Sedation, which allows his patients to feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental visits. He is also certified in Laser Dentistry which helps assist with the reduction of bacteria by promoting faster healing while decreasing inflammation and discomfort during extensive dental procedures.
Dr. Lide is married and stays very busy with his four children, Mark, Madison, Mason, and Avery. Choosing a career that allows him to be skillful with his hands, was definitely a must for him, and you will soon understand why! In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys painting and being outside in his garage. His hobby of building mini boats from scratch, racing and blowing it up, keeps him young at heart. If it breaks, no worries! Dr. Lide takes “it” apart, examines and fixes it while making it better in the process. During the COVID pandemic, the aerosol purifier machines were on high demand and lengthy backorder, not a problem for Dr. Lide! He and his brother-in-law, an engineer, built several for all the operatory rooms in the dental office – and built many others which have been purchased by other dental and medical professionals!

So to start I chipped a tooth Saturday afternoon. I’ve been looking for a new dentist that takes Medicare. I booked the appointment with Lide DDS online, his office staff called to offer me an earlier appointment. I arrived on time filled out new patient paperwork, and was seen the minute I completed it. Dr Lide’s staff were very very friendly, and attentive. Dr Lide was very friendly, and informative. Overall I highly recommend Dr Lien’s and his entire office for your next Dental appointment.

Dr. Lide was amazing. He came in on and introduced himself and made me fill a lot more calm. I’m terrified of dentist and he made me fill so much better. Even though he didn’t get to extract my tooth, he sent me to a surgeon to do that so that I could be monitored as I’m on Eliquis. Dr Lides office staff were so awesome, so very friendly. I will definitely refer my family and friends to him.

The bedside manner was just awful. The lady that cleaned my teeth cut my gums up so bad they're still bleeding. Her instructions never included why, the reason I need to do whatever she was trying to get me to do. She expected me to read her mind. The dentist was the same only worse. The lady at the front desk didn't know what my credit card was. Her behavior was just silent and weird. Keep looking for a decent dentist. Good luck out there.

Got over a 1/2 dozen reminders and confirmation requests for appointment. Ridiculous.
This Zocdoc site is painful.
Dentist Lide came in to talk to me after 1hr 25 minutes. I got there 15 minutes early btw, so it was a long annual. Regardless, he apologized profusely, then asked questions like he's trying to get to know me or something and stated he wants his patients to feel like family. It's a business not a family.
Asked about whitening my teeth and veneers in the initial phone request for appt, and also to the dentist "nurse" when I got there. Never addressed.
What was addressed was that my overbite was chipping my veneers up front. Garbage. I chipped them 26 years ago and they haven't changed since.
Also, nurse said I could have cavities forming in teeth if the lines were sticky. Lide immediately said yep, we'll need fillings in those (paraphrasing). Don't think so. We'll see in 6 months or a year, when I visit someone else.

If you require a dentist, THIS IS THE OFFICE to book with! The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the wait time was nonexistent. I have never felt more relaxed at the dentist's office. They answered all of my questions and addressed each and all of my concerns. They gave great recommendations without being condescending (which is sometimes really hard to find with new offices). Anywho, the hype is real; this office is a 10/10
