“I came in due to a bad toothache and ended up having one of my teeth extracted. I have a bad case of dental phobia and even take medication for panic attacks, but the doctor and staff's calm mannerism helped me to stay calm. The tooth being extracted was pulled out in no time, and the dentist did ask me if I felt anything before proceeding with the extraction. ”

About Dr. Jeffrey Tang
Jeffrey Tang is a friendly and dedicated general and cosmetic dentist based in Houston, TX. Dr. Tang completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in nutritional science. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas, Houston.
Dr. Tang makes every effort to stay current with developments in dentistry. To that end, he maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education in both general and cosmetic dentistry. I was not seen by Dr Tang, nor was I informed I would be seen by Dr Gonzalez. I took the time from work to go to this appointment to at minimum get a cleaning and consultation for additional work needed. Did not even get a cleaning. Felt it was a waste of time.

This sight will not work with you in solving a dental problem. They always send my son for the most expensive care because he has autism- they won’t try to work with you.

The front desk staff was professional, pleasant and helpful. The dentist that serviced my son was a female and did not introduce herself upon entering the service space. She didn't provide her name. While my son was the patient, he was also a minor and she failed to address me or even acknowledge me until I said something to her post service. She did engage my son, however. Going forward, speaking to the parent would exhibit acceptable etiquette.

Waited to see a doctor for over an hour, and saw him for about 3 minutes. He didn't really answer my questions as he just had to go back to his other patient he was working on. When I had questions, the assistant would go ask him and bring me the answer. Also, him and his wife are wearing street clothes while he is doing the procedure, and she is assisting him with suctioning. Speaking about infection control. His young kid ran to him, screaming "Daddy!", while he was doing the procedure. I waited for the cleaning for total of two hours. I found another doctor who does not take my insurance, but i will rather do my crowns there.

Me being the scardy cat about going to the dentist, the staff made me feel very relaxed. .Dr Tang was very gentle and through. Office was very clean and organized. I made a joke about biting him if he hurt and he laughed along with me.

I went in scared of getting teeth extracted due to a previous experience at another office. This doctor made sure I was doing fine, he talked through the whole procedure to let me know what he was doing. I left out of there very pleased with his work.

This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. They’re so amazing from start to finish. I typically can get a same day appointment if necessary, and when I get there I don’t have to wait very long. Going to the dentist can be a nightmare as an autistic person but with their calm nature they make it bearable. They are always considerate of my needs and let me take breaks. I have never been to place that is so patient and understanding. I am so thankful that I found this place. I highly recommend.

He also makes sure that you understand all that was stated before starting the procedure. The office is absolutely immaculate. After seeing several dentists over the past few years and being referred to have unnecessary procedures done, I have finally found a HONEST and STRAIGHT TO THE POINT dental office!! I am terrified of dentists but Hollywood helped me feel very at ease on my first visit. I'm glad I waited to find a dentist that I felt connected to. I love the fact that they recommended more cost effective methods to saving my teeth instead of trying to drain my pockets and offer other services that were not needed.
