About Dr. Jeffrey Valenti

Dr. Jeffrey Valenti is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY Cortland. He then continued his studies at New York University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating at the top of his class. At NYU, he held many leadership roles, including conducting and presenting research, serving on the University Ethics Board, tutoring, and dental community service. Dr. Valenti completed his six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and earned his Medical Degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson during his residency training. His training included a General Surgery internship and rotations including trauma, plastic/reconstructive surgery, internal medicine, emergency care, and anesthesiology. During his residency at Thomas Jefferson, he was trained in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on treatment of benign pathology, and dentialveolar surgery including wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, and complex dental implantology. Since completing his residency in 2020, Dr. Valenti has been working in the Hudson Valley area as a full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and is excited to start working at the New Jersery. Center for Oral Surgery. Dr. Valenti was also a physician at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, covering facial trauma and infections. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Dr. Valenti was born in Mount Kisco, New York, and raised in Rochester, New York and Melbourne, Australia. He now lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys exploring our beautiful region with his family, playing soccer, golfing, scuba diving, and traveling.
