About Dr. Jeffry Nirenstein
Dr. Jeffry Nirenstein is a general dentist specializing in cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. He graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1997. In addition, his education culminated with a post-graduate Implant Placement and Restoration program at NYU. Dr. Nirenstein practices in Manhattan, as well as Brooklyn. As an adolescent he had a passion for drawing, which quickly turned into his excellent hand skills. His precision and immaculate perception of detail aid him in creating perfect smiles, time and time again, leaving patients extremely satisfied.
In his spare time, Dr. Nirenstein enjoys spending time with his three children and many grandchildren! He also loves to ski competitively and enjoys keeping up with the latest news. In the future, he hopes to make a landing on the Moon!

The office (twice) confirmed that my insurance would cover the x-rays they recommended, then sent me a bill for this procedure. When I called to clarify, the manager (Helen) not only demanded I pay for the mistake, but threatened to send me to collections over the remaining balance.

I started having intense jaw pain and scheduled a quick visit. Dr. Nirenstein was calm, professional, and extremely helpful. I was very anxious about the visit and he helped alleviate my worries. He conducted a thorough exam and provided some great advice. I would definitely recommend him.

I arrived fifteen minutes early for my 9:30am appointment, and none of the staff was there until 9:30, so if you're looking for a morning appointment, keep in mind that they really don't open until 9:30. However, once the first assistant got there she was very friendly and helpful and got my check-up/cleaning started as quickly as she could, even with phone calls coming in and nobody else there yet at the front desk, so I appreciated her extra effort. The doctor who saw me was excellent - very helpful, friendly, thorough, and informative, and very thoughtful in discussing and answering the questions I had. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the assistant and can't find the name of the dentist online, but I think her name was Dr. Osin or possibly Oczy (sorry if I'm butchering your name!) In any case she's great and I'm looking forward to going back in next week for a follow-up appointment.

Dr. Nirenstein has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He’s a very meticulous and knowledgeable dentist. He knows my fear of doctors and is always extra gentle. The office is very clean and has a welcoming staff.

Dr. Nirenstein is amazingly efficient. In a matter of 35 minutes from when I stepped into the office I was back out. This includes filling out the forms, waiting for a few minutes, x-rays, and a full cleaning. They do a great job of getting you in and out as quickly as possible.

Ended up seeing his office mate instead. Didn't bother me.
If he is covered by your insurance and you like the location, go. Best I can say for any dentist.

Nobody likes the dentist... unless they're going to see Dr Nirenstein! Such an excellent, compassionate and available doctor. I refer all of my friends and colleagues to this office. I've had extensive dental work done and I trust this office 100%.
