About Dr. Jennifer Ngo
A California native from San Jose, Dr. Jennifer Ngo graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Santa Clara. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.
Dr. Ngo takes pride in delivering the best dental care possible by maintaining excellent clinical standards and working closely with patients to help overcome any anxieties they may have. She understands how reluctant some patients can be to visit the dentist and is always happy to answer questions about treatment in a clear, understandable way.
She believes dental care is a vital part of overall healthcare and is committed not only to treating her patients but also to educating them on how to best care for their smiles. As dentistry is a constantly evolving field, Dr. Ngo continues her education by taking courses to stay current with new treatment techniques.
In addition to serving patients in the Bay Area, she has participated in humanitarian mission trips providing dental care to rural communities in Honduras, Jamaica, and Vietnam. Locally, she volunteers with San Francisco's Project Homeless Connect and The Berkeley Free Clinic.
Dr. Ngo is a member of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. For fun, she enjoys yoga, science fiction, sculpting, and cooking.

My visit was amazing! Everyone at Citident was very helpful and kind. The office was very clean and beautiful as well! Never thought I’d actually like going to the dentist but it was a very pleasant appointment.

Dr. Ngo saved my teeth. Before seeing Dr. Ngo, I was unaware of how much my last dentist was neglecting my teeth. I initially came in looking for a new general dentist, a cleaning, and a second opinion on orthodontics. She was able to provide a second opinion and a cleaning and full diagnostics of my oral health. Unfortunately, after my diagnostic, I learned I had a few cavities. Dr. Ngo was able to handle my fillings professionally and with care while saving my teeth from needing root canals. Dr. Ngo Genuinely cares and listens to the concerns of her patients. She really makes you feel like a valued patient at her practice. The whole staff at her current office (CitiDent) is great as well. I have received care four times so far and have had a pleasant experience every time. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo to anyone looking for a new general dentist.

This has been by far the BEST dentist experience I have ever had. I have never been in a practice where everyone from the receptionist, the technicians, and the dentists were all genuinely cared about their patients and seemed to have fun doing it! I highly recommend Dr. Ngo, she took great attention in explaining the health of my teeth and gums.
The happy and fun energy of the office and the staff really helped me start my day on a great note!

I was accepted by Jasmine and Dr. Jennifer Ngo. They are very kind and professional. They helped me took the x-ray and pictures of each problem tooth. Dr. Ngo also informed me the root filling which I haven't heard from other dentist. It makes me feel more comfortable. Overall, I think the environment is very clean and nice. It's a pleasant visit to this office. I have booked the 2nd visit for the filling.

This was the first time I had been to the dentist in a very long time so I was a bit nervous. That went away once I came in, the front desk greeted me immediately and helped me get settled in for my appointment and they were very safe with their covid precautions. Dr. Ngo and her assistant were very pleasant and made sure I felt at ease as I underwent X-rays and photos and my cleaning. Dr. Ngo explained everything to me simply and it was a great experience and I recommend everyone to come if they are due for a checkup.

My visit with Jennifer Ngo,DDS was great! She was thorough and detailed in the dental exam and cleaning. She provided options for dental improvement and offered suggestions. She was very pleasant and professional. Her dental hygienist was also amazing. Very friendly and helpful with the questions I had. I had a full exam, X-rays, and a cleaning all in under an hour. Really enjoyed this experience!

Knowledgeable and considerate, Jennifer gave me the best first time consultation exam I've ever had. She quickly assessed that I was grinding my teeth at night (yikes!) and offered several solutions with ranging prices. The exam was painless and not stressful at all, which is something I don't often experience at the dentist.

Dr. Ngo was great. She was exremely thorough, answered all my questions and ensured that I was comfortable with what was going on as well as the information she was giving me.
My only problem with this appointment is the cost of work that needs to be done. I understand this facility is a bit more high tech and many people in San Francisco are able to afford this but there are another group of many people who can not. The prices were unreasonable and for that, I will not return despite the great bed side manner.

I felt at home with her and the staff (nora) and they were each very professional and thorough in their work, explaining to me in detail the xrays and their processes (tartar buildup, periodontal pockets), with potential problem areas. Dr. Ngo was fantastic. She took time to go through pictures of my teeth, explain where there could be problem areas in the future and suggested remedies without me feeling like I was "being sold". On top of that, her podcast recommendations were spot on ;)
Her team was fun to be around and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth (Janice was great). They also thoroughly explained the breakdown of costs if I did want preventative surgery.
If only there were more reasons to visit the dentist... I will be back for all future dental work!

Dr. Ngo is great! She handled my crowns with ease. Best work I've had so far, especially in an area in which I've dealt with many prior dentists. Shes delightful to be around and her supporting staff at CitiDent is more than accommodating. I get in and out with no surprises. My visits have been most enjoyable; not something most people would exclaim when speaking about a dental visit ! I look forward to visiting the office again.
