About Dr. Jessica Desouza
Dr. Jessica deSouza is a kind and thorough dentist specializing in general and cosmetic dentistry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She completed a Post Baccalaureate program at Columbia University in New York, NY. Dr. deSouza earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York, Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She completed a residency in General Practice at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Currently, Dr. deSouza works at JDental Associates, providing a wide range of general and cosmetic dental services. These include cosmetic restorations, oral maxillofacial surgery, crowns, bridges, implants, Invisalign, dentures, retainers, sealants, gum surgery, laser treatments, braces, root canals, veneers, sleep apnea treatment, and TMJ pain management. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the New York Academy of Dentistry.

My tooth chipped and I thought I was in network for this doctor. She fixed my tooth, first off, not well as it looked diagonal and didn’t fit with my other front tooth. It no longer fit with my aligner so I couldn’t wear that for the last two months. Also, it just rechipped again showing how she didn’t do a great job. I wouldn’t go back ever.

Dr. Desouza is great! She is very nice and welcoming to her patients and goes above and beyond to connect personally with them. She also contacted me directly not only to follow up on my visit, but also to re-schedule appointments due to Covid-19. I could not recommend her enough to someone looking for a new dentist!

Dr. Desouza is my go to dentist when I am in NYC! She is not only extremely competent, but has a wonderful demeanor. My mouth has been in better shape since I've gone to her. Sunday hours are convenient and I love the new office.

Excellent. Actually, I enjoy my visits to Desouza's office! The atmosphere is welcoming and not intimidating. Jessica is very skilled and knowledgable; not to mention passionate about dental hygiene. She is personable and super funny. You will not regret coming to J Dental.

Dr. Desouza is great. When I arrived early for my appointment she got me right in. She and her staff were very kind and welcoming. They addressed my concerns and were very helpful with scheduling a consult I needed with an oral surgeon. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. DeSouza was very patient and understanding. She immediately identified any issues and assisted me with handling each task. I would highly recommend her. The only issue was the wait time before being called to the back for X-rays. I waited over an hour, but overall the visit was pleasant. Glad I had the rest of the day off. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. DeSouza.
