Dr. Johanna Palacio was inspired to be a dentist by her family members who are also practicing dentists and lab technicians. She saw herself as a dentist from a young age and followed her dream career. She went to college at The City College of New York and following graduation she attended the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. After earning her DMD degree, Dr. Palacio completed a General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital of New York.
Dr. Palacio has had extensive experience in private practice and has continued taking courses to stay updated with the latest dental technology. Dr. Palacio is committed to providing excellent quality dentistry and patient care. She believes that patient education and motivation are the key to healthy and attractive smiles. She enjoys dancing, exercising and spending time with her family.
Both Drs met while attending the dental school in Philadelphia and became best friends. They always envisioned opening a dental practice together.

I have been seeing Dr. Palacio consistently for a few years now... She is the kindest and most gentle dentist that I've ever had! Before I found her, I used to dread dentist appointments... I now look forward to my visits with her and my teeth and gums are the healthiest they have ever been. I've since moved and I drive 90 minutes each way a few times a year because Dr. Palacio is THAT awesome! She is simply the best and I am so grateful to be under her care.

This was my first appointment and I was very pleased. Dr. Palacio is very knowledgeable. It’s a rare occurrence for a dentist to not only take X-rays but photos as well—she then explains what she is seeing on both the X-rays and photos and then talks about what next steps could be. I went in for a cleaning but she was able to do a filling in the same appointment so I wouldn’t have to come back. She takes her time and I’m happy to go back!
