About Dr. John Flanigan

Colorado Roots & Education Dr. Flanigan is a proud Colorado native who grew up in Thornton. His passion for dentistry led him to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2010. Advanced Training & Clinical Experience Following dental school, Dr. Flanigan completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Temple University in Philadelphia. This intensive program focused on fixed and removable implant prosthetics, giving him specialized expertise in comprehensive restorative care. Since completing his residency in 2011, he has been proud to serve patients at Flanigan Dentistry. Outside The Office When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Flanigan enjoys life in Greenwood Village with his wife, Sara, and their two sons, Colton and Jackson. He loves spending time outdoors hiking Colorado’s fourteeners, staying active with weight training, hitting the golf course, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Denver Broncos, Colorado Buffaloes, and other local sports teams.

My family has been with Dr. Flanigan since he acquired the practice. He knows our entire family by face and name. I trust his dental judgment. His staff have also been here a long time and I love knowing who I’m talking to when I call. This is a wonderful dental practice.

Dr. Flanigan has been my dentist for so long. All staff is wonderful to work with. They listen to your concerns & explain the best treatments plan for you. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
